Serious concerns🚨

Samples of Verka milk powder reportedly failed quality tests, prompting the Indian Army to return nearly 125 metric tonnes of stock. The Punjab government has ordered an inquiry and officials linked to quality control have been issued show-cause notices.

This isn’t just about one supply chain. Verka products are consumed daily by thousands of families across Punjab, Chandigarh and several other states. Any lapse in quality raises wider public health concerns.

The issue has also triggered political reactions with demands for a high-level probe.

The investigation must fix responsibility and ensure strict action.
