Residents of Jharmari and surrounding villages have received major relief after CTU approved a stoppage for 24 buses on the Chandigarh–Ambala route at Jharmari. The long-pending demand was fulfilled through the persistent efforts of BJP leader Manpreet "Bunny" Sandhu and Rajya Sabha MP Satnam Singh Sandhu.

Those present on the occasion included Ravinder Vaishnav, Babbli Sharma, Pawan Dhiman, Harnek Lambardar and Kamaljeet Singh Sarpanch, along with several residents of Jharmari and nearby villages who celebrated the commencement of the bus stoppage service. ゚

Zirakpur Police have busted a fake call center operating from Global Business Park and arrested six individuals allegedly involved in defrauding foreign nationals. The accused were reportedly running the call center under the name "Hometown Travel" and posing as travel agents to scam overseas customers.

The arrested individuals are said to be residents of Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, and Jammu & Kashmir. During the raid, police recovered five computers, one laptop, and other digital devices from the premises. The seized equipment is currently being examined as part of the ongoing investigation.

Zirakpur Station House Officer (SHO) Satyendra Singh stated that the accused are being questioned and will be taken on police remand to uncover the full extent of the network.

A girl working in a private company was brutally murdered inside her office. Her friend allegedly attacked her multiple times with a knife and later attempted to commit su***de himself. Considering the critical condition of both individuals, they were admitted to Fortis Hospital Mohali. The girl succumbed to her injuries during treatment, while the young man is currently undergoing treatment. A CCTV footage of the incident has also surfaced. The deceased girl has been identified as Dimple. The police of Phase 11 are investigating the matter.
