Radio is not just what I do—it is what I live.

For me, radio feels like being alive—like taking a deep breath. It is a live medium, and I feel fortunate to have spent the last 18 years living this journey.

I started my radio career in 2008 with Red FM, Jaipur. Since then, I have experienced different stations, formats, campaigns and stages, and most importantly, met and connected with countless listeners. My journey has taken me through Big FM, MY FM, Internet Radio, All India Radio, Doordarshan, and community radio stations including Desh Bhagat, Capital, and now Radio Punjab 90.0, Chandigarh University.

After all these years, one thing I strongly believe is: Radio can change, but it cannot fade.

The medium is constantly evolving. Podcasts, digital platforms, streaming, new formats and even AI RJs are changing the way we create and consume audio. But one thing remains constant—the connection with the listener.

Whether the voice belongs to a human RJ or an AI, the real strength of radio lies in its ability to connect with people, understand their stories and become a part of their everyday lives.

My recent visit to Radiodays Asia 2026 in Jakarta, Indonesia, further strengthened this belief. I experienced how podcasting, storytelling, music, technology and education are creating new possibilities for the audio industry.

The future of radio is not about competing with change—it is about embracing change while protecting the connection that makes radio special.

After 18 years, I am still listening, learning, connecting—and most importantly, living radio. 📻❤️
