🇮🇳 Punjab | In a significant review of border security preparedness, Praveen Kumar, Director General of Border Security Force, conducted a two-day visit to Punjab Frontier.
During his visit, the DG assessed operational readiness and engaged directly with commanders and troops stationed on the ground, reinforcing the importance of vigilance along India’s sensitive borders.
He toured the BSF Artillery Headquarters & Training Centre in Faridkot and the advanced Drone Forensic Laboratory in Amritsar, highlighting the growing role of technology in modern border management. He urged field units to stay adaptive and prepared for evolving security challenges.
The visit also included witnessing the iconic Retreat Ceremony at Attari Border, a symbol of discipline and national pride.
DG BSF praised the personnel for their unwavering dedication, professionalism, and round-the-clock vigilance in safeguarding the nation.
