*Compassionate Liberation on Pavarana Purnima* Baganpara 17 October, 2024:Today, on the sacred occasion of Pavarana Purnima, the Mahila Samiti of Baganpara join hands to collaborate with the monks of the local monastery of Swargo Alo Bana Vihar to perform a poignant act of kindness.It is a Symbolic Release of Snails. In a beautiful display of compassion and liberation, the Mahila Samiti and the monks collectively released snails into the Tuichawng River water, freeing them from harm and potential suffering.

10th KATHINA CIVARA DANA-2024 (2568 BUDDHA ERA)

The 10th Kathina Civara Dana is scheduled to be held on 26th October 2024 (Saturday) at Baganpara, in Chakma Autonomous District, Mizoram-Mizoram.

The significance of the 10th Kathina Civara Dana 2024 at Swarga Alo Shaka Bana Vihar Baganpara.

Kathina Civara Dana is a sacred Buddhist ceremony where laymen and laywomen offer new robes (Kathina) to monks who have completed their three-month rainy season retreat (Vassa). This tradition, occasion and dates back to the time of the Buddha Era.

The Celebration Committee of the Swarga Alo Shaka Bana Vihara warmly welcomes to all the well wishers, friends and philanthropist, etc. Precious donors are welcome on the auspicious occasion of 10th Kathina Civara Dana event.
