Innovation & Entrepreneurship Development Cell organized a creative T-Shirt Painting Workshop on 31st July 2026 in association with Fevicryl, Pidilite Industries.
120 students unleashed their creativity on the theme "Say No to Drugs", learning fabric painting techniques and designing powerful slogans for a drug-free lifestyle!

A Faculty Capacity-Building Activity held at Bhagwan Gautam Swami Auditorium. Mr. Sarath Babu E trained faculty on profile building and guiding students for placements and industry connections to boost employability.

In today’s world of reels and viral news, digital literacy matters as much as academics. To empower students to think critically and use social media responsibly, the Media Club hosted a Guest Lecture on “Be Informed, Not Influenced by Social Media” at Bhagwan Aadinath Auditorium. Mr. Sarath Babu E, Project Manager from Cognizant Technology Solutions led interactive sessions on misinformation and mindful online habits. Students learned to verify before sharing and use social media for learning, not comparison.

'Leaders of Tomorrow, Achievers of Today' ✨

🔹At Vidhya Sagar Women’s College, we believe leadership is built on sincerity, discipline, and service. On 12th August 2026, we hosted the Students Council Investiture & RYA Book & Scholarship Distribution Programme at Bhagwan Mahaveer Swami Auditorium.

🔹200 toppers of April 2026 University Exams received ₹10 Lakhs in Scholarships from the College Management. 300 students also received books from the RYA Book Bank.

🔹The event was graced by Chief Guest Shri Prabodh Jain, Entrepreneur, Philanthropist & Social Reformer, and Guest of Honour Smt. Rathandeep Umesh, Managing Partner, Consulting and Beyond. We were also joined by Shri Vivek Bomb, President, Rajasthan Youth Association, Shri Kailash Jain, Chairman - RYA Book Bank Extension, Shri Vikas Surana, Correspondent, VSI, Shri Suresh Kankaria, Treasurer, VSI, and Dr. R. Arunadevi, Principal, VSWC.

🔹The ceremony began with the Student Council oath, followed by "Our Aims and Activities @ VSWC". The dignitaries spoke on leadership, confidence and excellence.

The Department of B.Com Computer Application, Vidhya Sagar Women’s College successfully conducted the seminar on “Adapting to Change: Thriving in a Technology-Driven Workplace” with Ms. Nancy Fastina, Team Leader @ Capgemini Technology Services. 📅 31.07.2026 | Friday | 11:00 AM | 📍 Bhagwan Gautham Swami Auditorium. Donate Blood, Save Lives ❤️
Vidhya Sagar Women’s College, Chengalpattu successfully organized a Blood Donation Camp on 31.07.2026 in collaboration with NSS, Red Ribbon Club, Youth Red Cross, Karuna Enviro Club, and Sai Fertility & Multispeciality Hospital. The camp was inaugurated by Dr. P. Parameswari, MD, Professor & Head, Dept. of Community Medicine, Govt. Medical College, Villupuram as Chief Guest, and graced by Dr. S. Rajavel, MBBS, MBA, Medical Superintendent, Sai Hospital as Guest of Honour. The event was also honored by Mr. Vikas Surana, Correspondent, VSI  and Dr. R. Arunadevi, Principal, VSWC.
With the efficient support of the medical team from Sai Hospital, more than 150 students and faculty members came forward to donate blood voluntarily, reflecting the true spirit of service and social responsibility. Dignitaries appreciated all donors for their selfless contribution and urged everyone to support voluntary blood donation. We are proud of our VidhyaSagar family for making this drive a grand success!

Vidhya Sagar Women’s College, Chengalpattu conducted an *Organic Farming Awareness Programme* on 27.07.2026 at the College Organic Farm. Under the guidance of Dr. R. Rekha, HOD - Tamil & Advisor, Organic Farming,around 60 students participated and learned about chemical-free farming, soil conservation, natural composting, bio-fertilizers & sustainable agriculture. The session highlighted the importance of eco-friendly farming and healthy food production for a greener future.🌱
