🎬 The Journey of Tezla | My First School-Time Project
You guys know that I’m a big fan of Iron Man! I watched Iron Man when I was 12, and after that, I got completely influenced by the character. So, I decided to build my own Iron Man — but at that time, I only knew simple electronics like connecting a battery and light. I didn’t even know about parallel connections 😅 That was my knowledge level then. I also didn’t have much internet access, so I had to imagine everything in my mind and build it with whatever I had.
Step 1: I bought 9 blue LED bulbs and 8 nine-volt batteries.
Step 2: I took a cello tape cardboard cylinder as the base frame for the reactor.
Step 3: Inside the cylinder, I placed a thick circular cardboard piece.
Step 4: Made 9 holes and fixed the LED bulbs.
Step 5: Connected all LEDs in series and linked them to a switch and battery.
Step 6: Connected 8 nine-volt batteries in series.
Step 7: Connected the LED circuit to the battery.
Step 8: For the arc reactor cover, I used an old grinder lid we had at home. I cut it into a circle and used insulation tape inside to give it a reactor-like look.
Step 9: Placed the lid on the frame.
Step 10: To fix it on my chest, I cut an old pant and used my old bag’s ladder lock to adjust the height.
Finally, I completed it! 💪
When I wore it for the first time, I really felt like Iron Man ❤️
If I had known about parallel connections back then, I could’ve made it more compact — but it’s okay! Later, I learned about it in my school books.
This is the small story of how I made my own Arc Reactor with what I had. At that time, I had no one to guide me and no proper internet access, but still, I made it happen.
Conclusion: I always tell my fellow creators — start with what you have. Don’t wait for perfect tools or resources.
And yeah, I don’t have many photos from that time because I only had a basic keypad camera phone and didn’t know how to document things. So, my advice — document everything you create. One day, these will become your best memories when you look back ❤️
