🌀 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐟 𝐔𝐩𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐔𝐩𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐲𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐦 : After so much of Vortex confusions, Finally SL vortex (Circulation) gonna win the battle against SE andaman vortex. One thing for sure, It'll intensify and consolidate further then move up (North) through SL inland. This could be Depression/DD or Marginal cyclone (if forms - Senyar).

♦️ Mostly expecting to travel close to NTN coast or even could make landfall (which will look onto it later). Intensity of Rains depends on how close it travels from the coast. Nov 28 - Dec 1 will be the period. So, let's wait how things unfold.

⚠️ Note - Especially for Chennai & KTC belt guys, Ipothiku keep less expectations. Let's wait for 2 more days to confirm whether will be an useful system or not for us.✌️

☔️ Full Fledged Easterlies with the help of SL circulation in action since yesterday. Delta districts having good time again with Rains. Many interiors too got Rains today. Chennai and suburbs seeing typical Easterly (on/off) Rains at few places. Skyline was beautiful today with HD crystal blue with puffy clouds.

🚨 These Rains will continue for next 3 days (Till Nov 24), Delta and STN well placed for Good Widespread Rains. Especially, Extreme STN coasts (Tuticorin, Nellai,Kumari) could expect Very Heavy Rains. Delta also will get Heavy Rains.

♦️For Chennai - KTC Belt, Rains will continue for next two days. Just a Typical Monsoon Rains, Not threatening ones. Night to morning hours will be our active period where could expect Some Good Spells.

☔️ Chennai Rains tested our patience but Delivered! Chennai city on average got 2-3 cms where North Chennai alone got 3-5 cms. Two High Intense spells especially North got the Heaviest and Core areas too got Decent Rains. Unfortunately, Not much in South Chennai. Tondiarpet and Tiruvottriyur topping as of now with 57 mm and then Perambur 55 mm.

♦️ South Coastal districts (Thoothukudi, Tenkasi, Nellai and kumari) will get Very Heavy Rains tonight. Circulation in kumari sea aids perfect condition for Massive Rains in this belt.

☔️ Kindly Read this post till end! Delta districts got Heavy to Very Heavy Rains for 2nd Consecutive Day! Pondy and Cuddalore too got Good Rains. Chennai missed major bands overnight as it went North and South of the city though most places in city got atleast 10-15 mm of moderate Rains.

♦️ Since morning, Chennai city and suburbs having occasional sharp spells. This will be pattern, could expect few more Moderate/Intense spells till tonight.

Sad to see Fellow bloggers got attacked with abusive vulgar and unnecessary hatred comments. Even in my page saw 1-2 irrelevant comments. Okay I understand ur frustrations that yesterday was expected to have Good Rains but got less Rains. Adhukaaga oru blogger ah asingam padutanuma?

We didn't hype the Rains, U guys can check through previous posts. Go and show ur frustrations to those guys who unnecessarily hypes just for engagement and those who provided useless alerts for normal monsoon Rains.

☔️ Delta Districts especially Nagai, Karaikal and Mayiladudurai districts having great time with Rains since yesterday. Pondy and Cuddalore too got Good Rains. Kodiyakarai (Nagai) topped with 121 mm today. Currently, Same Delta region getting Heavy Rains again.

♦️ For Chennai - KTC belt, Just intermittent Light Rains throughout the day. Winds improving from Tonight and good atmosphere conditions seen which creates favourable for Rains. So, Chennai and suburbs would get Good Rains tonight and Tomorrow morning.

☔️ 𝗡𝗘𝗠 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗛𝘆𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝟭𝟲𝘁𝗵 𝗡𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿. Upcoming two weeks looks amazing with Back to Back Powerful Easterlies associated with CC and a possible system (Depression/Cyclone) on Last week.

♦️Entire TN coast will start to get Rains gradually from 16th November. Chennai city - KTC belt, Delta and North TN coasts will have Widespread Heavy Rains on 17th - 18th November. Scattered Rains will continue in further upcoming days too.

♦️ Next Round of Widespread Rains possible from 21st November from fresh Easterly wave or from CC/LPA. Entire TN coast incl. KTCC belt could get Widespread Heavy Rains again and might continue till 23rd/24th November.

🌀 A Possible Strong system expected to form in South BOB and further Rains post 25th November depends on the Intensity and movement of system which will look onto it later. Anyways, Super Duper Rains almost confirmed for Entire TN coast and adjoining interior districts between 16th - 23rd November (1 week)!! 💥😍

☔️ 𝗡𝗘𝗠 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟱 𝗥𝗘𝗩𝗜𝗩𝗔𝗟 💥 Proper Easterly wave to return around 15th November. Entire KTCC - TN coast expected to have Very Good Rains from 15/16 November. A Possible system to form in BOB later (Nov last week) which will look onto it later.

🌧 Most parts of KTCC belt, North TN and Pondy got Thunderstorm Rains past 3-4 days. Though didn't provide those typical monsoon vibes, It kept tickling rather than Dry days. Chennai got 20-40 mm on average from these Thunderstorms.

♦️ Meanwhile, Some Scattered Rains possible in KTCC - NTN coast around 10th, 11th November. South TN will have Good Thunderstorm Rains for next 2-3 Days and will continue to get Rains further.

☔️ Past 3-4 Days, TN experiencing abnormal scorching heat. Chennai Nunga recorded the hottest day of November in the history (35.6c) yesterday. Finally, some respite for KTCC belt, Delta regions and North Coastal - interior districts from today as could expect Thunderstorm Rains in Afternoon - Night hours.

🌧 Chennai city and suburbs have Good chances to get Some Rains in next few days along with North Coastals and Delta districts. North - Central interiors also will enjoy Good Thunderstorm Rains.

♦️ NEM will revive again gradually after 14/15th November and 2nd Half of Nov looks Good. Will look into it later.

🌀 𝘾𝙔𝘾𝙇𝙊𝙉𝙀 𝙈𝙊𝙉𝙏𝙃𝘼 - A Great Satisfactory system for Chennai city and suburbs! Ennore and Kathivakkam in North Chennai got 100+ mm of Rainfall where at one time thought even if we get atleast 10 mm and even some compared with phethai (2018). But, Montha provided us Very Good Rains!! Almost Entire Chennai city got 4-6 cms Rains on average and North Chennai got more Rains than South.

♦️ Still, Light Steady Rains continues in Chennai city and suburbs will reduce gradually from afternoon.Montha will make landfall near Kakinada tonight. Even now, Temp is around 23-24°C with strong chill gusty winds 🥶 Thank you Montha, Gave Rains more than expected!! 🙏😇

☔️ Steady Rains throughout the Day along with chill weather. A Wonderful pleasant weather in Chennai as Both indoors and outdoors are super cool.

♦️ Rains will continue tonight and then will completely ease off from tomorrow morning. Chennai city got 10-20 mm Rains till now, A Much Batter rather than nothing. Currently, Ennore topping with 35 mm.

♦️ As said earlier, Surely No Threatening Rains for Chennai - KTC belt from this Cyclone. it'll be enjoyable with Chill weather and Steady Rains throughout the day. At times could have Moderate Spells too in upcoming hours.

🌧 Northern suburbs of Chennai (Gummidipoondi-pulicat belt) alone having Good chances for Heavy Rains tonight. If lucky, Chennai city stands some slim chances for Good Rains between Tonight - Tomorrow early morning.

🌀 Cyclone Montha will form in next 6-12 hours. Currently Deep Depression started to move slowly in WNW direction and will make landfall near Kakinada between 28th Oct night - 29th Oct early morning.

♦️ Rains almost confirmed for Chennai - KTC belt from this cyclone. Rains will start gradually from tomorrow (Oct 27) morning. Hereafter, We should look into real-time scenario whether Chennai will get Normal or Very Good Rains which depends on how close it travels and how strong is the western quadrant.

☔️ Looks like Western quadrant of system looks Superb! (Refer pic 1). So, Chennai city and suburbs will surely get atleast Moderate Rains for next 2 days. Areas which are close to coast having chances for Heavy Rains.

🌧 Without much expectations just enjoy the Chilly cold and Rainy weather for next 2 days guys. After this system, We moving into Long Break phase. Stay tuned for further updates..
