Spotted: African Land Snail in Chennai!
This fascinating giant gastropod, native to East Africa, has found its way to the urban wilds of Chennai. With its massive shell and slow, graceful movement, the African Land Snail plays a surprisingly important role in the ecosystem — but it’s also considered an invasive species in many parts of the world.
