Job Title: Phlebotomist
Role Description:
This is a full-time and Part-time role for a Phlebotomist located in Chennai. As a Phlebotomist, you will be responsible for collecting blood and other specimens from patients, safely storing samples, and more. This role also requires the ability to provide basic patient care, prepare specimens for laboratory testing, and maintaining the cleanliness of the collection area and equipment.
Qualifications:
1. Must have completed Diploma (DMLT) or Bachelors in Medical Lab Technology.
2. Previous experience working in a clinical laboratory setting is also beneficial
3. Laboratory Skills including proper specimen handling and testing procedures
4. . Medical Assisting experience including taking vital signs and preparing patients for procedures
5. Knowledge of medical terminology, medicine, and human anatomy
6.. Experienced in blood collection and the use of collection equipment
7. Good interpersonal and communication skills
8. Attention to detail and ability to follow procedures and safety guidelines
9. Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
10. Two wheeler with driving license is also beneficial.
