New action comedy with Chris-who-remembers-his-last-name-anymore? Already know how it ends. Romantic comedy? Seen it, lived it, dated it. The latest influencer vlog? I stopped writing these bland scripts in my own influencer days.

I wasn’t looking for a masterpiece. I was just looking for something to kill my time - a movie, a show, a video that didn’t feel like a rehashed version of something I’d already consumed, rebranded with a shiny new algorithm-approved title.

It’s absolutely wild to see people I’ve never spoken to publish articles and videos on Thoxt and create their drafts and use your product for what you intended it to be used for. Some of them have used it for over 3 hours in a day. This is the best type of validation an entrepreneur needs, especially when it’s not even been 2 months since we launched, when we haven’t spent even a rupee on marketing. Product truly is the first P of marketing.

“A 100%,” one of our users told me last month when I asked her if she found Thoxt useful. “Making a blog is too much work, and here, posting is so easy.”
“Do you have any suggestions for improvement?” I asked one of our interns yesterday. “No, it seems fine,” she said!

Building a consumer product is crazy stressful, months and years of extreme hard unpaid work just to get your product in front of the users. Most days I just keep wondering whether my gut feeling about the vision is right, whether people will find it useful and even if I do everything right, whether they’ll still use it. “Chances of this working are very low,” are some of the things friends have told us to discourage us from taking this big risk, and also, “You’ll feel disheartened if it doesn’t work,” and what I think is, “I’ll feel way more disheartened if I didn’t give it my best try.”

In the early dawn of the 21st century, a new generation of women finds itself navigating the complex intersection of sexual liberation and romantic fulfillment. So this month's cover story explores the intricate dance between autonomy and intimacy in today's dating landscape.

Much like their predecessors in the 1970s, today's young women are raised in an era where sexual freedom is often celebrated as a hallmark of empowerment. However, beneath the surface of swipe-right culture and casual hook-ups, a deeper question persists: does the promise of liberation come at the cost of genuine connection and emotional security?

Drawing from a chorus of voices, the piece examines how Gen-Z is redefining what it means to be free, in love, and in control. As they step into their sexual identities with unprecedented openness, they also grapple with the paradoxes of a world where choice does not always equate to power. Through this piece, we discuss the hopes, fears, and aspirations of a generation determined to rewrite the rules of romance.
