Dubbing is one of the most underrated professions in the world. It is seen almost everywhere. Be it cartoons or advertisements or Movies, all these involve dubbing. Dubbing artists work behind the screen, giving life to the visuals. A dubbing artist needs to have a sync with the actor on scene. He/she needs to understand the scene well in order to be able to give voice to the scene. Dubbing is not just about saying the dialogues for a particular scene. It is expected from a dubbing artist that he/she should understand the scene and its setting well and emote the characters while doing the dubbing. Although a lot of institutes train the technicians who do the recording part of dubbing, very few Film schools focus upon teaching the skill of dubbing to students.
