Perhaps late to the trend, but some years deserve reflection.

2016, the year that quietly changed me.
On the surface, everything looked stable, but within me, the questions only grew louder.

There were beautiful moments too, yet slowly, clarity found its way in. I thought I was just pressing pause, turns out, life was preparing me for a leap.

2016 questioned everything.
2017 answered it..and changed everything.
It wasn’t an easy phase, but I’m deeply grateful I listened.
Still growing, still becoming.

Turns out, the best part of the workshop was who we danced it with.

Finding stillness where I am, flowing with the guiding presence.

Between temple steps, century old doors, gazing at the gopurams, fingers tracing cool, rough, carved pillars and walls (each whispering its own story), birds chirping above, the sound of flowing streams nearby, and quiet prayers.

A feeling of being gently held, as if the temple itself wraps me in the embrace of a higher presence, steadied and protected. The bells ring, clearing the space, easing the weight, shedding what no longer belongs, making room for calm, grace and the beginnings ahead.

Like my late ammama believed, lived and taught us, faith isn’t learned through rituals, preachers, or reading alone. It is lived, trusted, and surrendered to..knowing the unseen has your back.

These blooms were my diwali week muse.. a month old yet still carrying their own quiet light. They spark joy and a gentle comfort each time I set ‘em. Though I tend to gatekeep my calm corners, I’m letting these petals wander out.

Not a professional arranger, just a🪻lover rooted by supermom who taught me how petals can hold stories each time we set ‘em, sometimes a whole world of warmth, sometimes merely a quiet companion..
And yes it is my tiny lil love affair I proudly carry. If these petals found their way to you, hope they’ll add a lil warmth to your scroll!🕊️

Balanced the art of hosting & posing this preDiwali night, multitasking at its finest indeed! While my nasi lemak and cookies by supermom & from home (thanks to for flying them thousands of miles here!) stole the spotlight, our 📸 session was definitely a priority too! 😎
