We had an amazing time diving into the 𝙎𝙩𝙪𝙙𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙁𝙖𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝘼𝙣𝙖𝙩𝙤𝙢𝙮 at Basilic Bytes session!

A huge thanks to 𝗞𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗮𝗻 𝗣 & 𝗗𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝗵 𝗔 for taking us through the fundamentals of facial structure, proportions, and the little details that make a big difference in drawing and design. From understanding eye spacing to jawlines, it was a session full of insights and creative energy.

Basilic Fly Studio recently hosted an insightful industrial visit for the 𝘔.𝘚𝘤. 𝘝𝘪𝘴𝘶𝘢𝘭 𝘊𝘰𝘮𝘮𝘶𝘯𝘪𝘤𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘴𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘴 from 𝗦𝗥𝗠 𝗜𝗻𝘀𝘁𝗶𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆, 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗺 – 𝘚𝘤𝘩𝘰𝘰𝘭 𝘰𝘧 𝘔𝘦𝘥𝘪𝘢 𝘚𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘪𝘦𝘴.

The visit offered students a closer look into the world of VFX and animation, highlighting how creative ideas are brought to life through technology and collaboration.

Basilic Fly Studio joined hands with Apollo Hospitals, Chennai Hospitals to organize a General Body Check-up Camp last Friday for our VFX artists and support teams!

In the fast-paced world of post-production, we understand the importance of pausing to prioritize health. From blood pressure checks to wellness consultations, this initiative was all about caring for the creative minds and the support crew who keep the magic alive every day.

It was a small step towards reminding everyone that good health is the foundation of doing great work. A big thank you to Apollo Hospitals and to everyone who made time for their well-being.

Another inspiring chapter of Basilic Bytes took shape as our team explored the 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗹𝗼𝗯𝗮𝗹 𝗧𝘆𝗽𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝘆 𝗦𝘁𝘆𝗹𝗲𝘀 & 𝗛𝗮𝗻𝗱𝘀-𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗽𝗵𝘆 𝗔𝗿𝘁!

Led by 𝗩𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗿𝗶 𝗞, the session began with an insightful walkthrough of global typography fundamentals, from font families and styles in design. His session set the stage for understanding how fonts communicate emotion and purpose in visual storytelling.

A hands-on calligraphy session by 𝗧𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗦𝗲𝗹𝘃𝗮𝗻 gave our team a chance to explore the elegance of strokes, curves, and letterforms. With each pen movement, the space filled with quiet focus and creative expression.

This Basilic Bytes session was more than just informative. It offered a calming dive into the art of lettering, reminding us that even the simplest strokes can leave a lasting impression.

In one of our recent 𝘉𝘢𝘴𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘤 𝘉𝘺𝘵𝘦𝘴 sessions, we explored “𝗣𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴” with Kiran David.M.P. It was an insightful interactive experience.

This engaging session covered the 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗰𝘀, 𝗿𝘂𝗹𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗱𝗶𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝘆𝗽𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝘂𝘁𝘀 that every editor should keep in mind. It also helped us see how strong visual editing connects with the overall VFX process and storytelling.

A fun, interactive learning experience that added so much value to our creative journey.

Last week, our HR team had an inspiring visit to Shivaji University and Creative Multimedia Institution in Kolhapur!

They conducted an engaging industry awareness session, sharing valuable insights about the VFX industry and the exciting career opportunities at Basilic Fly Studio.

It was wonderful connecting with passionate students and future artists ready to make their mark in the world of visual effects!

We are honored and deeply grateful to receive the Gratitude Award from the Akshaya Patra Foundation in recognition of our CSR initiative.

Through this effort, Basilic Fly Studio proudly supported 700 underprivileged children by providing them with nutritious meals. A small step towards a brighter, healthier future.

This recognition inspires us to keep giving back, building communities, and making a real difference in the lives that need it most.

In Loving Memory

We are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of lives in the recent flight accident. Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families, friends, and loved ones affected by this heartbreaking event.
