ऊधमपुर जिले के सभी न्यायालय परिसरों में 12 सितंबर को लोक अदालत का आयोजन किया जाएगा। इस दौरान विभिन्न लंबित एवं आपसी सहमति से निपटाए जा सकने वाले मामलों का सौहार्दपूर्ण समाधान किया जाएगा।

Brinda Sabapathy Foundation (BSF) Distributes Ration Among 100 Needy Families in Chenani

Chenani, Udhampur (J&K) | 10 Sep 2025

In a noble humanitarian gesture, the Brinda Sabapathy Foundation (BSF), Nanganallur, Chennai distributed free ration kits among 100 underprivileged and needy families of Chenani Tehsil of District Udhampur.

The ration distribution program was organized in the memory of Mrs. Brinda Sabapathy Ammaiya on her Birthday anniversary, under the guidance of Dr. S. Ramesh Sabapathy, Founder, Brinda Sabapathy Foundation.

The distribution was carried out by Hony Capt. Ali Mohd Khan, Tehsil President, J&K Ex-Servicemen League (JKESL), Chenani, District Udhampur, along with other members of the League.

On this occasion, Hony Capt. Ali Mohd Khan said that the Foundation has always been at the forefront to help the poor people of Jammu & Kashmir, especially in remote areas like Chenani. He expressed heartfelt gratitude on behalf of the people of Chenani to Dr. S. Ramesh Sabapathy and the Brinda Sabapathy Foundation for their continuous support to the underprivileged families of J&K.

A total of 100 poor and needy families were provided with ration bags containing rice, flour and other essential commodities. The beneficiaries expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the Brinda Sabapathy Foundation and the Ex-Servicemen League for extending this timely humanitarian assistance.

Present on the occasion were Capt. Surjeet Chand, Capt. Moti Lal, Naik Mohd. Kabir, Babu Ram, Dalip Chand, Abdul Qyum, Dev Raj, Ex-Serviceman Halim Khan Qazi, along with other members of JKESL Chenani and prominent local citizens.

Today, worthy *District Development Commissioner Udhampur, Sh. Minga Shirpa (IAS)* along with *Divisional Forest Officer Udhampur, Sh. Sandeep Jyoti Behera (IFS)* were warmly welcomed at *Latti*.

Senior citizens of Latti and *Beopar Mandal President * thanked the administration for the better arrangements of *Kailash Kund Yatra* and also highlighted the burning issues:

*1. Worst condition of Mantalai to Dudu road*
*2. Requirement of Fire Service*
*3. Requirement of Doctor in PHC Latti*

The DC gave a patient hearing and assured that the *road will be taken on first priority* and work will be expedited very shortly.

चिनैनी गीता भवन में श्रीमद्भागवत कथा का हुआ भव्य समापन
चिनैनी: गीता भवन चिनैनी में आयोजित श्रीमद्भागवत कथा सप्ताह का श्रद्धा और भक्ति भाव के साथ समापन हुआ। कथा के दौरान परम पूज्य संत श्री सुभाष शास्त्री जी महाराज ने भक्तों को श्रीमद्भागवत के आध्यात्मिक प्रसंगों का रसपान करवाते हुए धर्म, भक्ति और सदाचार का संदेश दिया।
कथा के समापन अवसर पर बड़ी संख्या में श्रद्धालु उपस्थित रहे। संत श्री सुभाष शास्त्री जी के प्रवचनों से भक्त भाव-विभोर नजर आए और पूरे गीता भवन का वातावरण भक्तिमय हो गया।
इस अवसर पर श्रद्धालुओं ने भजन-कीर्तन का आनंद लिया और भगवान के जयकारों से वातावरण गूंज उठा। भक्तों ने संत श्री सुभाष शास्त्री जी से आशीर्वाद प्राप्त किया।
श्रद्धालुओं ने कहा कि श्रीमद्भागवत कथा ने उन्हें आध्यात्मिक शांति और सकारात्मक ऊर्जा प्रदान की। कथा के सफल आयोजन के लिए गीता भवन से जुड़े सभी सदस्यों एवं आयोजकों का आभार व्यक्त किया गया।

Today 05 September 2026, an information was received through reliable source that a girl namely Payal Devi D/o Bal krishan R/o korara Tehsil Mohalla District Doda reportedly jumped from Shiva Bridge into the Chenab River.
SHO Police Station Thathri Sh. Harjeet Singh alongwith police personnel from Police Post Prem Nagar reached the spot. Local people also gathered at the site and efforts are presently being made to locate and recover the girl from the river chenab.

कृष्ण जन्माष्टमी पर चिनैनी में निकली भव्य झांकी, जयकारों से गूंजा मुख्य बाजार

चिनैनी: कृष्ण जन्माष्टमी के पावन अवसर पर चिनैनी स्थित राधा कृष्ण मंदिर से भव्य झांकी निकाली गई। झांकी राधा कृष्ण मंदिर से शुरू होकर मुख्य बाजार, बस स्टैंड सहित नगर के विभिन्न मार्गों से होते हुए वापस राधा कृष्ण मंदिर पहुंची।

झांकी के दौरान बड़ी संख्या में श्रद्धालु शामिल हुए। श्रद्धालुओं ने भगवान श्रीकृष्ण के जयकारे लगाते हुए पूरे वातावरण को भक्तिमय बना दिया। जगह-जगह लोगों ने झांकी का स्वागत किया और भगवान श्रीकृष्ण के दर्शन कर आशीर्वाद प्राप्त किया।

इस अवसर पर चिनैनी विधानसभा क्षेत्र के विधायक बलवंत सिंह मनकोटिया भी झांकी में शामिल हुए। उन्होंने श्रद्धालुओं को कृष्ण जन्माष्टमी की शुभकामनाएं दीं और भगवान श्रीकृष्ण से क्षेत्र की सुख-समृद्धि एवं शांति की कामना की।

झांकी के दौरान श्रद्धालुओं में खासा उत्साह देखने को मिला। भक्ति गीतों और भगवान श्रीकृष्ण के जयकारों से चिनैनी का मुख्य बाजार गूंज उठा। धार्मिक आयोजन को सफल बनाने में मंदिर कमेटी, श्रद्धालुओं और स्थानीय लोगों ने महत्वपूर्ण भूमिका निभाई।
