City and -GCC jointly organized a Fair as “Part of Perumbakkam Experiment Project”.

Today 03.07.2025, A Job Fair was organized by the Tambaram City Police in collaboration with the Tamil Nadu Smart and Advanced Manufacturing Centre (TANSAM) and Global Career Connect (GCC) at Kailash Garden Mall, OMR Road, .

2) The objective of the job fair was to identify and provide better employment opportunities to skilled and efficient youth, particularly from areas such as Kannagi Nagar, Perumbakkam, Semmenchery, and other localities within Tambaram City.

3) The event brought together several companies from diverse sectors, including 1. D-Mart, 2.A2B Hotels, 3. TVS Lucas, 4.TVS Motors, 5. Shoba Builders, and 6. Bhidar AI-Mulla – Kuwait and various construction firms, Hotel Industries and Logistic companies.

4) Over 281 candidates participated, including those who had completed 10th and 12th grade, ITI, Diploma, Undergraduate programs, Nursing, and Hotel Management courses.

5) Among them, one male candidate received an overseas job offer, while 51 male and female candidates received on-the-spot within the country job offers. Mr. Abhin Dinesh Modak, IPS, Commissioner of Tambaram City Police, personally congratulated the selected candidates and issued their appointment letters.

6) This Mega Job Fair served as a valuable employment platform for local youth. Many participants expressed satisfaction with the event arrangements and the job opportunities provided.

7) The selected candidates will undergo a three-day Orientation Training program conducted by TANSAM.

Swift Action by Police: Accused Arrested and Stolen Property Worth ₹70 Lakh Recovered. On 28 June 2025, a resident of , lodged a complaint at the Police Station. She reported that while she had gone to her daughter’s residence, unknown persons broke into her locked house and stole: • 90 sovereigns of gold ornaments • 1 diamond necklace • 2 diamond bangles • 750 g of silver articles The total value of the stolen property is estimated at ₹70 lakhs. Based on the information, a case was registered in No. 241/2025 for offences punishable under Sections 331(4) and 305(a) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), and an investigation was initiated. During the course of investigation, four special teams were formed. The teams: • Conducted a meticulous examination of the crime scene and lifted fingerprints for comparison with those of known offenders. • Analysed more than 100 CCTV recordings from the vicinity.
Gathered information on recently released convicts and local suspects. • Traced an auto-rickshaw seen loitering near the victim’s residence. Acting on these leads, the teams arrested Arogyaraj (46), son of P. Kotandaraman, of No. 3/999, Kanni Koil 4th Street, Chitlapakkam, at 09:15 hrs on 30 June 2025. Upon interrogation, the accused confessed to the burglary. All stolen items 90 sovereigns of gold jewellery, one diamond necklace, two diamond bangles, and 750 gm of silver articles were recovered in full. The accused was produced before the concerned Judicial Magistrate and has been remanded to judicial custody. The Tambaram City reiterate their commitment to swift and effective action to ensure the safety and of the public.
