- Always visit the supplier in person. Also if you have more volume certainly visit factory.

- If you cannot visit factory, then atleast have a Thailand friend who can visit it for you and make video to you.

What happens when we use C grade paper??

Printers are precise machines that need everything to be just right to deliver the right quality. Even small things such as bits of paper can cause problems such as printer paper jams. Using c grade quality paper can result in this problem. Even if paper bits are not the problem, low quality paper will leave behind what technicians call “paper dust”. This is basically very small paper bits that only become a problem when they accumulate. So for bulk printing always use A grade papers for better results.

The method of making paper is essentially a simple one—mix up vegetable fibers, and cook them in hot water until the fibers are soft but not dissolved. The hot water also contains a base chemical such as lye, which softens the fibers as they are cooking.

A pulp mill is a manufacturing facility that converts wood chips or other plant fibre source into a thick fiberboard which can be shipped to a paper mill for further processing. Pulp can be manufactured using mechanical, semi-chemical or fully chemical methods (kraft and sulfite processes). The finished product may be either bleached or non-bleached, depending on the customer requirements.

Takes 12 trees to make one ton of 100% non-recycled newsprint. It takes more than half a tree to make a carton (10 reams) of 100 percent, non-recycled 20-lb. . One tree makes 16.67 reams of copy paper, or 8,333.3 sheets

Pulp is a lignocellulosic fibrous material prepared by chemically or mechanically separating cellulose fibres from wood, fiber crops, waste paper, or rags. Many kinds of paper are made from wood with nothing else mixed into them. This includes newspaper, magazines and even toilet paper. Pulp is one of the most abundant raw materials worldwide.

If you look at a tree, you might have a hard time imagining how something so tall and strong could be turned into something as thin and weak as a sheet of paper. The process begins with the raw wood, which is made up of fibers called "cellulose."

The cellulose fibers are stuck together with a natural glue called "lignin." When the lignin is removed and the cellulose fibers are separated and reorganized, paper can be made.

Wood can be turned to pulp in a couple of different ways. Mechanical pulping involves using machines to grind wood chips into pulp.

The resulting pulp retains most of its lignin, though. The short fibers created by grinding leads to weak paper most suitable for newsprint, phone books, or other types of low-strength papers.

The more commonly used method is chemical pulping, also known as “kraft." Chemicals are used to separate lignin from the cellulose fibers, leaving a pulp mixture that can make stronger papers.

Half of the fiber used for paper today comes from wood that has been purposely harvested in Thailand, the remaining material comes from wood fiber from sawmills, recycled newspaper, some vegetable matter, and recycled cloth.

Today, A4 paper is used by most countries around the world, exception of USA and Canada. Most of the southern part of America have officially taken on the A4 paper dimensions standard. However, the most common page size in these countries are still 'Letter Size'.

16/02/2018

Paper dimensions were introduced in 1700's to make publishing easy, If paper was never standardised today, We would need different dimension fax machines, printers, in and out trays, etc. all over the world.
