Indian cricket team star pacer Jasprit Bumrah scaled a new peak on Wednesday. The pace spearhead dethroned compatriot Ravichandran Ashwin to take the No.1 spot in the latest ICC Men's Test Bowler rankings and became the first Indian pacer to do so. In the latest rankings by ICC, released on Wednesday, Bumrah reached the peak after a nine-wicket match haul during India's series-leveling victory in the second Test against England at Vizag.

Indian cricket team fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah believes that he will have a lot of chances to take wickets if England decide to play 'Bazball' in the upcoming five-match Test series starting January 25. In a recent interview, Bumrah explained that the aggressive brand of cricket will actually allow him to stay in the game as batters are more prone to mistakes if they try to score runs quickly. The pacer also added that although he does not relate to Bazball, it has shown another way to play Test cricket.
