Mark-Fly Honors Dr. Tripti Sharan

Dr. Tripti Sharan is a gynecologist by profession and presently the Director of the Department of Obstetrics & Gynae at BLK MAX Hospital, New Delhi. A keen academician, she has several publications and awards to her credit.

With her dual role as a doctor-author and her distinctive style of writing in both prose and poetry, she holds a significant place in the hearts of literary enthusiasts. Writing for her is a journey into the self. As she paints the canvas of life with the colors of myriad emotions, she uncovers deeper truths hidden within their realms. Writing brings meaning to her life and serves as a tool for change.

She is the author of powerful women-centric, anecdotal books such as The Chronicles of a Gynaecologist, House of Doctors, Anecdotes & Antidotes. She has also explored mythology through her works Being Radha, Beyond Her Love & His Leela, Devis & Divas: Immortal Tales, Timeless Journeys, and her recent book Raasleela: Conversations Between a Modern Radha & Her Eternal Krishna, besides contributing to anthologies.

Her poetry includes Shadows of a Fading Twilight and Dewdrops: A Journey Begins, which won the Best Poetry Anthology in English (Samman, 2015). Her poem Water, based on dialysis patients, also won an award for Best Poem.

Beyond books, she is a blogger and columnist with NDTV EveryLifeCounts, The Better India, and Different Truths. As an erudite speaker, she spreads awareness about the struggles of women and doctors.

Her accolades include the APJ Abdul Kalam Appreciation Award (2022 - Delhi Gynae Forum), Wonder Fogsian, The Most Inspiring Gynaecologist (ET), Global Youth Icon Award, and Inspirational Women Award. She has been featured by Incredible Women of India and Business Manager.

An ardent swimmer and fitness enthusiast, her profession constantly pushes her to the edge, but she finds solace in music and family. And in between, she writes—to rejuvenate her soul. Music is her essence, words her salvation, making her world happier and more spiritual.

Her tryst with literature continues.

Thank you all!

The first edition of this initiative has now concluded. We received numerous profiles, and while we couldn’t feature everyone this time, we don’t want to disappoint anyone. That’s why we are excited to announce the second edition of this incredible initiative, launching in a month’s time, where we will feature another set of authors. Profiles that were not included this time will definitely be featured in the next edition.

This initiative was created with the motto of uniting us all, and we will continue this mission through Mark-Fly. Through mega sharing and media, we have achieved a reach of 1.5 million across all platforms, extending our influence to cinema and various walks of life.

Thank you all for being a part of this journey. We hope you had a great experience, and we look forward to seeing you again in the next edition!

Inspiring. Legend. Robin Sharma

I refuse to retire. Ever. Ever. Never.

Il pray to expire at the age of 101 on some stage in some stadium after a strong closing statement that speaks to the higher angels and greatest ideals of my audience].
..To retire would be to stop just when I’m closer to where I’ve always wanted to be in my craft. [Why would anyone stop when, after years of rigorous and difficult practice, they are closer to the materialization of their gifts and talents?].
..To retire would be to lose the intense joy and immense psychic fulfillment that I get from being an instrument of service and helping others lead, produce and win.
..To retire would be to age quickly by moving less and removing my central mission from my life.

In my mind (and heart) retirement would be the beginning of the end. So I won’t do it. Ever. Ever. Never!

I’m now in year 32 as a teacher of leadership, elite performance and personal mastery. I feel deeply honored to have been able to serve, for so long.

Anyway, I humbly thank you for reading my books and following my work. I do my best to serve and help. I hope to do better. I wish you and your loved ones grace, courage, joy, and peace.

Born and brought up in Delhi, Arup Bose’s association with books and publishing has been deep-rooted since childhood. Mark-Fly Honors Author & Lawyer Sumant Batra Sir

Mark-Fly proudly confers the title of "Outstanding Contribution to Indian Literature" to Sumant Batra, a distinguished Indian lawyer and celebrated author. With nearly three decades of global experience in insolvency and bankruptcy, Batra ranks among the 30 leading global insolvency experts, recently receiving the Global Restructuring Review's "Outstanding Career" Award. An International Fellow of the American College of Bankruptcy, he remains the only Indian to achieve this honor.

Beyond law, Sumant Batra is a prolific author. His latest historical fiction, Anarkali, is a national bestseller. His acclaimed work, Sanjeev Kumar - An Actor’s Actor, co-authored with Hanif Zaveri, was featured on the popular show Kaun Banega Crorepati. His coffee table book, The Indians, with a foreword by Cherie Blair, earned widespread praise. With two new titles set to launch this year, his literary journey continues to inspire.

Batra’s contributions extend beyond books. As a cultural champion, he is the founder of the Indian Cinema Heritage Foundation, dedicated to documenting Indian cinema’s history. His expertise in cinema earned him a place on the jury for the National Award for Best Literature on Indian Cinema (2024) and the pre-jury for the Best OTT Series at IFFI (2023). His dedication to peace and humanity was recognized with the Himalayan Award, conferred by the House of Lords and Nepal International.
