From soaking in the serene vibes of the Dhyanalinga to clicking fun-filled selfies near the majestic Adiyogi, it was a perfect blend of laughter, learning, and togetherness. 💫📸

The visit gave our students a much-needed refreshing break, helping them reconnect with nature, themselves, and each other — all while making beautiful memories outside the classroom! 💚

Today (04.03.2025), Dr. Shankar Subramaniam M.E., Ph.D (IIT Madras), Director, ProMind Research Academy, ProMind Learning Academy, ViPa Robotics, Erode delivered a session on "Art of Research Writing: From Concept to Publication" to our II MCA students of Karpagam College of Engineering, Coimbatore.

The session provided valuable guidance on structuring research papers, choosing the right journal, avoiding plagiarism, and enhancing the chances of publication. Students and faculty members actively participated, gaining key takeaways to elevate their research writing skills.

The School of Computer Applications at Karpagam College of Engineering, Coimbatore, successfully organized a Hackathon for first-year MCA students on Saturday, 23rd November 2024, from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. The event saw enthusiastic participation from 55 students, providing them with an excellent platform to deepen their knowledge of Data Structures and application development. Mr. Vetrivelan S, Ms. Deepika S, and Mr. Abinash M emerged as the winners of this intense competition. The winners were felicitated by our esteemed Principal, Dr. V. Kumar Chinnaiyan, with cash prizes and certificates on 25th January 2025.

The School of Computer Applications organized an institutional visit to IIT Palakkad for first-year MCA students on 4th December. During the visit, the students participated in a workshop on open-source operating systems and explored the state-of-the-art IT infrastructure at the institution. The visit was an enriching experience, and we extend our heartfelt gratitude to IIT Palakkad for their invaluable support and hospitality.
