Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu:

"I wish to update you on what we did in Syria, and what we will do in Syria.
We established a clear policy: the demilitarization of the area south of Damascus, from the Golan to the Druze Mountain region, is one line. The second line - protecting our brothers, the Druze in the Druze Mountain.

Both of these things were violated by the Damascus regime. It sent troops south of Damascus, into the area that was supposed to be demilitarized, and it began slaughtering the Druze. We could not accept that in any way.
Therefore, I instructed the IDF to act - and to act forcefully. The Air Force attacked both the murder gangs and the RPGs. I also added a target in Damascus to attack the Ministry of Defense.

As a result of this intense operation, a ceasefire was achieved, and Syrian forces retreated back to Damascus. This is important.

This is a ceasefire achieved through strength. Not through requests, not through pleas - through strength. We achieve peace through strength, quiet through strength, security through strength - on seven fronts.

This will also be the continuation of our policy - we will not allow army forces to descend south of Damascus, we will not allow the Druze in Jabal Druze to be harmed.

I want to share something that deeply moved me in the last two days. Sheikh Muafaq Tarif, the leader of the Druze in Israel, approached me.
He told me the following: 'During the Holocaust, when you Jews were slaughtered, you cried for help, and no one came. Today, we Druze are being slaughtered, and we are calling for the help of the State of Israel.'

And I said - he is right.
We acted, and will continue to act as needed."

The international community has committed to transferring about 20 billion dollars to Syria – will the Sweida events change anything?
In recent months, the international community has committed to supporting the Syrian economy with about 20 billion dollars. These commitments come in the form of aid, grants, and investments. For example, the Brussels Summit held earlier this year committed to transferring about 6.5 billion dollars to Syria, an international consortium led by a Qatari company committed to investing 7 billion dollars in solar energy projects, and just this week, the Dubai Ports Company signed an agreement with the Syrian government worth 800 million dollars. These funds are necessary for the Syrian regime, where 90% of the population lives below the poverty line. The huge amount of money to be funneled into Syria is supposed to help the regime consolidate its rule, along with what appears to be consolidation in additional areas such as the Druze Mountain.

Will reports of the killing and abuse of Druze stop the flow of funds to Syria? Probably not. Even after the massacre on the Syrian coast, the international community continued to embrace the jihadist regime in Syria, and it does not seem that a change will occur now.

A video revealed today shows an attack by the Israeli Air Force on a bunker where senior Iranian political figures were present during the "Rising Lion" war.

The Iranians report that many senior officials managed to escape, including President Pezeshkian, who was lightly injured in the attack, along with several others who were injured to varying degrees, through a pre-prepared side security door.

In the video, fighter jets attack the bunker's entrances to prevent escape.

In recent weeks, the IDF rescued a group of Palestinian collaborators who were trapped under a collapsed building in the southern Gaza Strip. These Palestinians were sent by the IDF to conduct searches at the site, and after they were injured, IDF forces were dispatched to extract them from the rubble.

A helicopter was specially deployed for the event, carrying fighters from Unit 669 and a medic from the unit who provided one of the injured Palestinians with life-saving medical treatment. Subsequently, the Palestinian was evacuated by helicopter to an Israeli hospital for medical care.

In recent weeks, Israel has been assisting groups of Palestinians opposed to Hamas, who also carry out various tasks for it, such as securing humanitarian convoys and searching suspicious buildings. The best-known group is led by Yasser Abu Shabab, operating in the Rafah area, and has even been armed by Israel with Kalashnikov rifles.

It turns out that this is not only assistance with weapons but also rescue and evacuation after being injured on missions on behalf of the IDF and the State of Israel.

The UN Security Council's crippling sanctions (Snapback) are approaching Iran

German Chancellor Friedrich Merz:
Germany, together with two other European countries (UK and France), will submit a request to the UN Security Council next Tuesday, July 15, to activate the sanctions mechanism - Snapback against Iran, as a result of the 2015 nuclear agreement and against the background of Iran's violations of the Council's decisions.

This is a dramatic event!

After the request, Iran is expected to enter a 30-day warning period, at the end of which crippling sanctions will be imposed on Iran, which even its friends China and Russia will not be able to prevent with a veto (because the decision has already been made in the past and is now simply being implemented according to the agreement).

The sanctions will prevent Iran from selling oil almost completely because they include draconian sanctions on anyone who trades with Iran. Iran will find it difficult to transport oil and will find it difficult to trade with foreign countries.
These are sanctions that Iran is trying to avoid because they will lead to a rapid economic collapse.

Multiple people hurt in Kentucky church shooting; suspect killed, police say
Multiple people were injured on Sunday in shooting at a Kentucky church after the suspect shot and wounded a state trooper, authorities said.
After shooting the trooper, the suspect ended up at Richmond Road Baptist Church in southwest Lexington, where there were multiple injuries, Kentucky State Police said. The suspect was killed, state police said, but the agency did not provide additional information.

New tribal chaos in Syria: This afternoon, battles began between Bedouin tribes and ISIS-affiliated Arab jihadist factions, and Druze factions in the Al-Makous neighborhood west of the city of Sweida in Jabal al-Druze in southern Syria.

The background to the battles began following the deployment of checkpoints by Bedouin gunmen and ISIS-affiliated Arab jihadist factions on the Daraa-Sweida road, after a Druze youth was attacked by the Bedouins. The military council in Sweida declared war and responded against the Bedouins.

As of earlier, the Druze recaptured the Al-Makous neighborhood where the fighting was concentrated.

There are at least 10 killed, including Druze children, and dozens wounded (the Qatari enemy network Al-Jazeera claims there are 20 killed and over 90 wounded in the battles between the Bedouins and the Druze).

The Sunnis and Bedouins present this as a jihad war against the "infidel pigs" Druze and call on all Sunni jihadists, led by Tahrir al-Sham under the leadership of al-Julani, to come out and fight alongside them.

Very difficult days for the Druze in southern Syria.
