When in Singalila National Park(West Bengal), take a break frome your trek/ride and sit by this lake, feel the breeze, watch the clouds fly and get lost in the hymm of the prayer flags.
On the way to Sandakphu from Tonglu/Tumling, at an elevation of 10,500 ft. situated in the mountain village of the same name, Kalipokhri(dark lake) is a lake of immense religious significance to the locals.
At a walking distance lies the open borders of our friendly neighbour Nepal. ☮️
