हामी दार्जिलिङको सुन्दर पहाडमा बस्ने युवा, उत्साही अन्वेषकहरूको समूह हौँ। हामी हाम्रो खुट्टा मुनि रहेको फङ्गल किंगडमका रहस्यहरू पत्ता लगाउने यात्रामा छौँ। हामी प्राध्यापक वा वैज्ञानिक होइनौँ, हामी केवल हरेक पाइलामा सिक्दै जाने उत्सुक, स्वयं-सिकाईका माइकोलोजिस्टहरू हौँ।

धेरैका लागि, च्याउ भन्नाले दुईवटा कुराहरू दिमागमा आउँछन्: खाना वा खतरा। तर हामी त्यो स्टेरियोटाइपलाई बिस्तारै चुनौती दिन यहाँ आएका छौँ। फङ्गी त्योभन्दा धेरै हो! तिनीहरू पृथ्वीका महान् रिसाइक्लरहरू हुन्, जङ्गलको सञ्चार सञ्जाल हुन्, र प्रायः अलक्षित, अचम्मको, अनौठो सुन्दरताको संसार हुन्।
