As I stood at 5,900 meters, watching the final stretch of the Ladakh Umlingla Challenge – the world’s highest altitude ultra marathon, I knew this was more than just another race. This was a battle against altitude, elements, and self-doubt.

And the finish line? It wasn’t a flashy banner or a towering arch—it was a simple line drawn in the roadside soil, blending effortlessly with the raw beauty of the Himalayas. No plastic, no waste—just pure, unfiltered adventure in its most sustainable form.

💚 A Race that Gives Back to Nature 💚
At this altitude, where oxygen is scarce but nature is abundant, we made a choice—to leave no trace. No synthetic structures, no leftover materials—just runners, determination, and respect for the land that makes this challenge possible.

We're thrilled to announce that Anjali has shattered the previous Half Marathon (Female) course record at the Sarmang Dehradun Marathon, completing 21.0975 KM in an impressive 1:24:44! She broke the earlier record of 1:34:58 set in the first edition. 💪

Meanwhile, Rajesh Kumar Patel set a new benchmark in the 5KM race, finishing with a blazing time of 00:17:58, breaking the previous record of 00:18:08. 🔥
