Sharing a patient’s recent experience during her visit to a government hospital in Dehradun.
According to her, after reaching the main emergency, she was directed to the ortho department. She was then asked to complete billing formalities before proceeding for an X-ray. After the X-ray, she again completed the required billing process for plaster treatment.
She mentioned that moving between departments took time, and the wheelchair provided was not functioning smoothly, which made mobility slightly difficult.
