Cockroach Janta Party's founder Abhijeet Dipke today alleged that politics in the country over last decade is centred around Hindu-Muslim agenda, calling for a change in the government’s priorities and flagging unemployment as a pressing issue.
Addressing a press conference in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, a day after leading an agitation in Delhi, Dipke reiterated the demand for Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan’s resignation amid the row over the alleged N.E.E.T. Paper-leak and C.B.S.E.'s O.S.M. glitches.
Abhijeet vowed to prepare an agenda to overhaul the education system after Pradhan’s resignation.

A 22-year-old woman allegedly committed su***de by jumping in front of a metro train at M.G. Road Station in Gurugram, Police said today, adding that a video of the incident has surfaced.
The incident happened at around when deceased, Varsha, came in front of a Delhi-bound metro train at the station, Police informed.
Varsha, a resident of Ayanagar in Delhi, worked with a private company near M.G. Road Metro Station in Gurugram.

A Goa Forest Department's official lodged a police complaint today against state minister Subhash Phal Desai in connection with transportation of soil from an iron ore dump in a reserve area of Kushavati District.
In the complaint to Quepem Police Station, Kurdi Range Forest Officer Sonia B. Rane alleged that State Eiver Navigation Department Minister Phal Desai and his supporters prevented Forest officials from taking action against this "illegal activity" in a government forest area at Colomba Village in Sanguem Taluka.
The action began after Forest personnel noticed clearing of vegetation, excavation and transportation of soil from government forest land bearing Survey No. 105 of Colomba Village through deployment of two excavators and four trucks, the complaint stated.

India clinched the S.A.F.F. Women's Championships Football Title for the sixth time and their first after seven years, with a dominant 3-1 win over Bangladesh in the summit clash here today.
Pyari Xaxa (42nd), Sanfida Nongrum (46th) and Lynda Kom Serto (82nd) scored the goals for India, while Ritu Porna Chakma (45+2) pulled one back for Bangladesh.
Earlier, hosts had beaten the same opponents 3-0 in the group stage.
