Rishi Ranjan, a native of Pipariya in Lakhisarai, and the Lieutenant son of Shri Rajiv Ranjan settled in Begusarai, martyred in J&K a day before at a tender age of 23.
Just 23.
Martyr Lt. Rishi had joined army only a month ago. Posting was done in Jammu and Kashmir only a month ago. He has two sisters. The elder sister and brother-in-law of the martyr are also in the army. Martyr Lt. Rishi's younger sister's marriage was fixed on November 29 and Lt. Rishi was supposed to come home on leave on November 22.

Dinesh Kumar Batra, CMD, Director (Finance) & CFO of Bharat Electronics Limited is superannuating on Monday, October 31, 2022 after an illustrious career. As Director (Finance) & CFO, Dinesh Kumar Batra steered BEL to achieve its highest ever turnover of Rs 15,044 crore and Profit After Tax (PAT) of Rs 2,349 crore in FY 2021-22 and that is just one of his many notable achievements. He was instrumental in increasing BEL’s authorised capital to Rs 750 crore from Rs 250 crore and issuing two bonus shares for each share held by the shareholders of the company. Batra also played a pivotal role in obtaining necessary approvals for BEL’s highest ever payout of 450 percent dividend.
