Welcome back to Sachin Ji’s “Ladli Ki Bagiya” in Palwal, where he shares expert tips on caring for champa (plumeria) plants! In this video, Sachin Ji explains how to nurture champa for abundant blooms, including the best fertilizers by season—use high-phosphate fertilizer (10-50-10) bi weekly from March to October, and avoid fertilizing in winter dormancy. For pruning, he recommends late winter or early spring cuts to encourage new growth, using sharp, sterile shears at a low angle to prevent tip rot. For more flowers, ensure 6+ hours of direct sunlight and well-draining soil (sand and compost mix). Small champa plants thrive in 10-12 inch pots, upgrading to 14-20 inches as they grow.
