I got the opportunity to meet and represent at the Warwick law fair yesterday. It was an insightful afternoon, as I got to meet and answer firm related queries for students and promote the firm's opportunities and values.

I would like to express my gratitude to the firm’s representatives, including Lucy De St Croix for their time and effort. I would also like to thank Comfort for her valuable insights and tips about Latham's application process.

At the law fair, I got the chance to interact with other firms, including Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, White & Case LLP, Ropes & Gray LLP, Paul Hastings, Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP, DLA Piper and Dechert LLP. Through my interactions with the graduate recruitment, partners and trainees at the firms, I got a deep insight into each firm's unique culture, practice areas, pro bono, and trainee development opportunities.

I feel fortunate for my interactions and the networking opportunities with various firms as this would help me better understand the life as a trainee, and most importantly explore what suits my interest the best.

Lastly, I would like to express my thanks to the Warwick Law careers team to have organised this Law fair.

I was fortunate enough to get the opportunity to intern at during the summer.

Throughout the internship I assisted in drafting a discharge application based on a Supreme Court judgment, involving IPC and Prevention of Corruption Act cases. I also learnt drafting trademark objection replies, conducted IP research, and managed corporate registers. This was followed by performing due diligence on properties for a listed company.

I also got the opportunity to conducted legal research on various topics, including international jurisdictions.
I was involved in preparing case notes on an arbitration matter involving the Companies Act, 1956.

Overall, it was a holistic learning experience, especially for an aspiring solicitor. It provided me practical exposure to the legal field by real-world application of legal principles.
