সন্তু লারমা সুহাস চাকমা লৈ তুলনা ন গরিস / SANTU LARMA SUHAS CHAKMA LOI TULANA NW GORIS
সন্তু লারমার আন্দোলনের সফলতা শূন্য কারণ তাঁর একমাত্র অর্জন ‘পার্বত্য চট্টগ্রাম চুক্তি’ ২০১০ সালে অসাংবিধানিক ঘোষিত হয়েছে। এই শূন্য অর্জনের জন্য জুম্মদের চড়া মূল্য দিতে হয়েছে - সন্তু লারমা পার্বত্য চট্টগ্রামে ৫,০০,০০০ মুসলিম বসতি স্থাপনকারী নিয়ে এসেছে, জুম্মদের ওপর ঘটা ১৯টি বড় গণহত্যা ঠেকাতে ব্যর্থ হয়েছে; ৭০,০০০ জুম্মকে ভারতে শরণার্থী হতে বাধ্য করেছে যারা আজও বাস্তুচ্যুত; এবং সন্তু লারমা তাঁর শত শত সহকর্মী, সন্তান ও নাতি-নাতনিদের হত্যা করেছে।
সন্তু লারমা আন্দোলনে শুধু সন্তু লারমা এবং তাঁর পরিবারের সদস্যরা ব্যক্তিগতভাবে উপকৃত হয়েছে। সন্তু লারমা আমৃত্যু পিসিজেএসএস (PCJSS) এবং পার্বত্য চট্টগ্রাম আঞ্চলিক পরিষদের চেয়ারম্যান পদ উপভোগ করছে।
এর তুলনায়, অরুণাচল প্রদেশে সুহাস চাকমা নাগরিকত্ব অধিকার, ভোটাধিকার, জন্ম নিবন্ধন সনদ এবং পুনর্বাসন ও বাস্তুচ্যুতির বিরুদ্ধে সুরক্ষা নিশ্চিত করেছেন। মিজোরামে ১৯৯৫ সালে হাজার হাজার চাকমাকে ভোটার তালিকা থেকে বাদ দেওয়ার পর পুনরায় অন্তর্ভুক্ত করা হয়েছে এবং চাকমাদের ব্রু/রিয়াংদের মতো বাস্তুচ্যুত হওয়া থেকে রক্ষা করেছে ; এছাড়া তিনি চাকমা শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য উচ্চতর প্রযুক্তিগত শিক্ষায় সুযোগ নিশ্চিত করেছেন। ত্রিপুরায় তিনি চাকমাদের ‘বিদেশি’ হিসেবে চিহ্নিত করা প্রক্রিয়া থেকে রক্ষা করেছেন এবং ২০২৫ সালের আগস্টে যখন গণ্ডাছড়া থেকে উচ্ছেদের নোটিশ দেওয়া হয়েছিল, তখন সুহাস চাকমাই তার জবাব তৈরি করে উচ্ছেদ প্রক্রিয়া বন্ধ করেছিলেন।
সুহাস চাকমার কাজের জন্য কাউকে পয়সা বা মূল্য দিতে হয়নি। সুহাস চাকমা এই অধিকারগুলো নিশ্চিত করে ব্যক্তিগতভাবে কিছুই ভোগ করছেন না। তিনি তাঁর কাজ শেষে এগিয়ে গেছেন।
Santu Larma’s achievement is zero because the CHT Accord, his only achievement, had been declared as unconstitutional in 2010. In order to achieve this zero, Jummas had to pay a heavy price. Santu Larma brought 500,000 Muslim settlers into the CHT; failed to prevent 19 major massacres of the Jummas; caused 70,000 Jummas to become refugees in India and they still remain displaced; and finally, Santu Larma killed hundreds of his colleagues, children and grand children.
In return, Santu Larma is enjoying the Chairmanship of the PCJSS and the CHT Regional Council till death. He personally benefitted and his family members too benefited.
In comparison, in Arunachal Pradesh Suhas Chakma brought citizenship rights, voting rights, birth certificates & protection against relocation and displacement. In Mizoram, thousands of Chakmas were included into the voter list after being deleted from electoral rolls and were saved from being displaced like the Brus/Reangs and he further secured access to higher technical education for the Chakma students. In Tripura, he protected the Chakmas from being identified as foreigners and in August 2025, when notices were issued for eviction from lands at Gandachara, it was Suhas Chakma who drafted the reply and stopped the process.
No one had to pay anything. Suhas Chakma is not enjoying anything by securing these rights. He has moved on.
