Mistakes new Freelancers Do ??

I have so many beginner Freelancers who is doing these mistakes which can cause a lot in the long run.

Let's start with the first mistake :-

1. Not Charging in advance :- The first mistake every new Freelancers do is that they are not charging anything in advance I have seen people who charge 100% advance payment and I also have seen people who doesn't even charge 10% advance payment , so stop doing this mistake and start charging in advance and setup a payment terms.

2. Closing deal in chat :- Second Mistakes they are doing is they always try to Close deal in chat , and this is worse thing they are doing with themselves , because closing deal in chat will never build that relationship with your client and it will also not help you to retain that client for longer period of time , so instead talking on chat and try to close on chat , go and tell them that lets schedule a zoom call and discuss about your business in detail.

3. Work for free :- 3rd mistake Freelancers do is giving their services for free , instead what you can do offer a free weekly trial in exchange of a video testimonial , this will help you and gain some confidence and it will also help you to charge from the next one.

4. Never ask for feedback or testimonial :- Your 4th mistake is somehow connected with the 3rd one , where you are offering free trial , and even someone pay you for your work , you afraid to ask for the feedback as a testimonial , having testimonial in your Portfolio can help you to close high ticket clients.

These are the 4 mistakes freelancers are doing these days , which they should stop doing from today.

Close clients in just 4 steps 👆

Do you want to know the secret ??

Well let me tell you my exact process I follow to close my clients.

So let's talk about the first process 👇👇

1. Make a Buyer Persona :- Your first step in order to close a client is making a proper buyer persona , in which you will clearly mention that who is that 1 person I can help with my services and this is person who has the pocket to pay my fees , so make sure be clear about the person you are targeting.

2. Outreach :- Now after making a clear Buyer Persona , your second step is too start outreaching those people via social media platforms or when you make a buyer Persona you know that where your clients are hanging out , so reachout to them where they are , sending cold emails for outreaching is the best option to close meetings.

3. Discovery call :- Now your 3rd step is to get on a discovery call with your client , Discovery call means , a meeting where you and your client will discuss about the problem your client are facing and how you can help them with your services.

4. Sending Final Contract Proposal :- This is the first and the last step after the discovery call , you and your client are absolutely aware about the project , now is the time to written agreement , now you have to mention each & everything discussed in the meeting about the payment terms , about the project length , about your role , about the objective of the project and all , and send this to your client via email and tell them that send you a sign copy of the project via email as a proof.

So these are the 4 Steps I follow to close my clients.
