You are not too late. You might just be getting started.

At 52, when many people are thinking about slowing down, Nisha Madhulika started her YouTube journey.

Before that, she had spent years as a teacher and had already started sharing recipes through her blog.

She didn't have a massive head start.
She simply had something valuable to share and the consistency to keep sharing it.

Today, her journey has turned into:

• 15.2M+ YouTube subscribers
• 3.64B+ views
• 2,500+ videos
• A career built around something she genuinely knew and loved

Her net worth has been widely reported at around ₹43 crore, although this remains a media estimate rather than a verified financial figure.

But the biggest number isn't ₹43 crore.

It's 52.

Because 52 was the age at which she began.

Her story is a reminder that:

Your age doesn't decide your potential.
Your past doesn't decide your future.
And starting late is still starting.

Sometimes, you don't need a new opportunity.

You simply need the courage to finally start.

Instagram changed one word.

And somehow, the internet is already calling it “Instagzam.”

After nearly 10 years, Instagram has redesigned its wordmark, replacing the familiar cursive lettering with a cleaner hybrid of print and script.

But here’s the interesting part:

• The iconic gradient camera icon is still the same.
• The wordmark is the part that changed.
• The previous design had been around since 2016.
• Instagram says the new version is sharper, cleaner and more modern.
• Users are divided, with many questioning the readability of the new “r” and saying it looks like a “z.”

And this isn't just a logo story.

It is a branding lesson.

When a brand becomes globally recognizable, even a tiny change can trigger a massive conversation.

Instagram doesn't need to explain what the camera icon means anymore. That recognition has been built over years.

So the real challenge isn't:

“How do we make the logo look newer?”

It is:

“How do we make it feel new without making people stop recognizing it?”

The 2016 Instagram redesign was heavily debated too. Today, that gradient camera icon is one of the most recognizable symbols in digital culture.

Maybe this new wordmark will follow the same path.

Or maybe…

we're all going to be calling it Instagzam for the next 10 years.

What do you think?

Too minimal?
A smart evolution?
Or did Instagram fix something that wasn't broken?

Your next UPI payment may not need the internet at all.

Sounds futuristic.

But India has already built the technology for it.

In 2023, UPI Lite X introduced offline UPI payments using NFC. The idea is simple: two compatible devices can exchange payment information through proximity, without requiring an active internet connection for the transaction itself.

And this matters more than it may seem.

India processed 23.2 billion UPI transactions in May 2026 alone, worth nearly ₹29.9 lakh crore.

As UPI scales further, reducing dependency on constant connectivity becomes increasingly important.

Think about:

• A metro station with poor connectivity
• A crowded stadium where networks are congested
• A remote area with unreliable mobile data
• A small merchant accepting a low-value payment

This is where offline payments can become powerful.

RBI's framework defines an offline payment as one that does not require internet or telecom connectivity to take effect.

For UPI Lite, the enhanced limit is currently ₹1,000 per transaction and ₹5,000 in total, with replenishment requiring an online connection.

There is an even bigger shift happening here.

Cash → Digital payments → Instant payments → Connected payments → Payments that can work without connectivity

The real innovation isn't just making UPI faster.

It's making India's payment infrastructure more resilient, accessible and ubiquitous.

The future of digital payments may not be about being online all the time.

It may be about not needing to be online at all.

11 years old.
₹2 crore ask.
8% equity and an ₹11 lakh grant.

Athvik Amith Kumar just showed that you don't need decades of experience to start thinking like a founder.

At 11, Athvik is building ZOZOconnect, an NFC-enabled digital business card that lets people share their contact details, social profiles and digital identity with a tap.

The idea is simple.

But the ex*****on is what makes this story interesting.

ZOZOconnect says it has now served 2,000+ customers. During his appearance on Bharat Ke Super Founders, Athvik pitched ₹2 crore for 8% equity.

The panel did not take the equity deal.

Instead, Nazara Technologies founder Nitish Mittersain offered him an ₹11 lakh grant, while the panel also extended mentorship and guidance.

And there is a bigger lesson here for founders:

You don't always need to invent a completely new technology.

NFC already exists.

Digital business cards already exist.

The opportunity is in identifying a familiar problem, packaging the technology better, finding customers and proving that people will actually pay for it.

That is the part many aspiring founders skip.

Athvik has already moved beyond the "I have an idea" stage.

He is building.
He is selling.
He is pitching.
And he is learning from people who have built before him.

Age is the headline.

Ex*****on is the real story.

What do you think: is starting this young an advantage, or does a founder still need years of experience to build a serious company?

This unicorn didn’t raise a new round to become a unicorn.

Astrotalk just crossed the $1 billion valuation mark through an ESOP buyback.

And that makes the story far more interesting.

More than 100 employees participated in the buyback, giving them an opportunity to unlock liquidity from their ESOPs. The transaction was funded through the company’s internal accruals, not a fresh external funding round.

The numbers behind the milestone are even more telling:

• $1 billion valuation today
• ~3.3X jump from its roughly $300 million valuation in 2024
• ₹1,176 crore operating revenue in FY25
• ₹285 crore profit before tax in FY25
• ₹2,500+ crore current revenue run rate
• 100+ employees participating in the ESOP buyback
• 8th Indian startup to enter the unicorn club in 2026

But the biggest takeaway isn't the $1 billion headline.

It is the growth model.

Astrotalk has moved from a niche digital astrology platform into a much larger spiritual-tech and commerce business, while building enough profitability to create employee liquidity without depending on another funding round.

That changes the usual startup narrative:

Raise → grow → raise again → increase valuation.

Astrotalk's latest milestone shows another route:

Build → grow revenue → become profitable → create liquidity → increase value.

For India's startup ecosystem, that's a meaningful signal.

The next question is not whether Astrotalk is a unicorn.

It's whether it can build a billion-dollar business that lasts.

A couple in Patiala, Punjab, reportedly went to see a house they were considering buying with a real estate dealer. The moment they rang the doorbell, a Pitbull inside the premises suddenly attacked them. By the time locals intervened, both husband and wife had suffered multiple serious bite injuries and had to be hospitalised.

People have every right to love and keep pets. But that right cannot come at the cost of another person's safety.

If someone chooses to keep aggressive or high-risk dog breeds, there should be strict accountability, proper containment and clearly defined public-safety regulations. Those who want to treat their pets as more important than human beings should understand that personal choice ends where another person's safety begins.

And when a dog owner’s negligence results in a serious attack, the law must treat it as a serious criminal offence with strong consequences. If a person is deliberately negligent despite knowing the danger, the possibility of charges equivalent to attempted murder should be examined under the applicable law.

Human life cannot be treated as less valuable than a pet.

We made payments instant. Food instant. Cabs instant.

Why is printing still stuck in 2005?

Think about it.

You need one urgent document printed.

You find a Xerox shop.
You wait in line.
You send your document to someone.
You pay.
You wait.
And sometimes, the shop is simply closed.

QwikPrint is taking a very old-school process and turning it into self-service infrastructure.

Scan a QR code → Upload your file → Pay → Collect your print.

The company says its kiosks can deliver prints in under 60 seconds and operate 24/7, without requiring a shopkeeper or USB drive. [QwikPrint](https://www.qwikprint.in/?utm_source=chatgpt.com)

And the opportunity is bigger than just printing.

India had around 4.46 crore students enrolled in higher education in 2022-23, according to AISHE data from the Ministry of Education.

That means millions of students regularly deal with assignments, projects, forms, hall tickets, applications and other documents that still need to exist on paper.

QwikPrint says its busy kiosks can handle 20,000+ prints a month and that it has already deployed 45+ kiosks across 7 states. These are company-reported figures, not independently audited numbers.

The interesting part isn't the printer.

It's the infrastructure model.

Place the kiosk where demand already exists:

• Universities
• Coaching centres
• Government offices
• Courts
• Metro & railway stations
• Coworking spaces
• High-footfall public locations

No queues.
No shop timings.
No unnecessary human interaction.

And there's another important layer: privacy.

Instead of sending sensitive documents such as IDs to a local print shop, QwikPrint says files are encrypted and automatically deleted after printing.

This is what makes the idea interesting.

India doesn't necessarily need another printing company.

It needs printing to become as accessible as an ATM.

The bigger question is:

Can QwikPrint turn a ₹2-₹5 everyday transaction into a nationwide self-service infrastructure network?

That's the bet worth watching.

Indian sneakers are no longer trying to look Western.
They’re trying to make the world look at India differently.

Gully Labs just raised ₹30 crore in Series A funding, led by Saama Capital, with Zeropearl VC also participating. The bigger story isn't the funding. It is what the brand is building with it.

Founded in 2023 by Arjun Singh and Animesh Mishra, Gully Labs is turning Indian cultural references into premium footwear.

Phulkari.
Onam.
Regional art.
Indian craftsmanship.

And the interesting part?

Around 25% of its revenue already comes from the US and UK, while the company has reached about ₹30 crore in annualised revenue and is targeting ₹100 crore by FY27.

This isn't an isolated trend.

Mintel found that 42% of Indian consumers preferred Indian clothing/accessory brands, compared with just 19% who preferred imported brands. The research covered 3,000 Indian internet users.

And Haldiram's took the idea even further.

A brand that started with a tiny bhujia shop in Bikaner in 1937 was valued at roughly $10 billion after Temasek invested about $1 billion for nearly 10%.

The shift I see is simple:

India is moving from being the factory behind global brands to becoming the story behind global brands.

For decades, “Made in India” was often something brands quietly placed on the label.

The next decade could make it the reason people buy.

The real opportunity isn't just exporting Indian products.

It is exporting Indian identity at a premium.

My bet: the next global Indian consumer brand won't hide where it comes from.

It will make that origin its moat.

Which Indian brand do you think can become the next global cultural brand?
