India State of Forest Report, 2021 :

✳️ 17 States/UTs have above 33% Geographical area under Forest Cover.
✳️ Total Mangrove Cover in the country is 4,992 sq. Km. , Increased by 17 sw. Km. As compared to ISFR,2019.
✳️ Max. Increase in "Forest Cover" - Andhrapradesh > Telangana > Odisha.
✳️Area wise Forest Cover - MP > Arunachal Pradesh > Chattisgarh > Odisha
✳️ As compared to 2019 report, there is increase of 2,261 sq. Km. in total Forest and Tree Cover of country.

❇️OTHER MAJOR FINDING :
✅ In terms of Percentage wise of forest in state - Mizoram > Arunachal Pradesh> Meghalaya > Manipur > Nagaland
✅ 24.62% of Geographical Area of Country under Forest Cover ( increase by 1540 sq. Km.)
and
Tree Cover (increase by 721 sq. Km.)
✅ Top 3 states in terms of Mangroves increase :
Odisha > Maharashtra > Karnataka.

❇️ What New in ISFR, 2021 :
✅ For the very 1st time include Forest cover with in Tiger Reserve, Corridors and Lion Conservation Area.
✅Pakke Tiger Reserve (Ar. Pradesh) has highest forest cover at 97%.

Odisha Forest and Environment Department has completed its first ever
radio-tagging of the Indian pangolin in an attempt to standardise the rehabilitation protocol for the animal in the State.

❇️About Pangolin :
✅ Pangolins are the "Nocturnal" Animal and their diet mainly consist of the Ants and Termites.
✅There are totally 8 Species of Pangolins which are found in 2 Continents - 4 in Africa and 4 in Asia.
✅4 which are found in Asia are- Indian Pangolin, Philippine Pangolin, Sunda Pangolin and Chinese Pangolin.

❇️About Indian Pangolin :
✅ Found in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Odisha, West Bengal, Chhattisgarh, Bihar, Jharkhand, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Delhi.
✅"Nandankanan Zoological Park" is the only conservation breeding centre for Indian Pangolin.
✅IUCN Status : Endangered

SEBI, the Market regulator come up with new guidelines for IPO. Have a look over it.

✅The price band of an IPO should be set in such a way that the ceiling price (Ceiling Price is the maximum price at which the thing can be sell) is at least 105% of the floor price.
✅Secondly, companies will not be allowed to use more than 35% of the money that they collect through IPOs to fund the purchase of other businesses, unless they offer sufficient details.
✅Thirdly, promoters with a stake of over 20% in a company cannot sell more than half of their stake in an IPO.
✅Anchor investors (these are the institutional investors to whom the shares are allotted for an IPO) will not be able to sell more than half their shares before 90 days from the date of the IPO, against the current time stipulation of 30 days.
