The most bittersweet wrap-up!

My last day at was a whirlwind of emotions - Here's a look at it!

I spent the day saying goodbye to all my friends! Was fortunate enough to get the most thoughtful gifts (including two ‘World’s Best Boss’ mugs?! like do you folks WANT me to cry?!)

The cake-cutting followed by speeches given by my teammates was incredibly wholesome. Especially the t-shirt which had everyone scribbling notes all over it - vvv last day of school coded

Thought this would be a good chance to try out my polaroid camera for the first time and it was quite possibly the best decision I made that day. Memories that’ll last me a lifetime

We ended the day with a DELISH dinner together and I felt v sappy as the day wound down!

Shoutout to everyone who came together to make the day so special!

Tag someone who loves strawberries🍓

In this Wow Rao Wow episode, I host my Berry Special Birthday, in collaboration with !

We kicked the event off with a round of strawberry smoothies! Then, 2 Truths 1 Lie: Berry edition helped us learn some trivia about the fruit (who knew 🍓 were 90% water?!)

Wanted to make this more like a fun hangout so we played some games to notch up the adrenaline levels. Ofc time of the main attraction after that - we sampled the MOST DELISH strawberry danishes, croissants, chocolate-covered strawberries and Wimbledon-style strawberries and cream 🤤

Chef Samson’s guided session of offbeat pairings was a real highlight! We ended the day with a cake-cutting (what’s a birthday without it?!), leaving our tummies full but hearts fuller

Can’t thank the Foodstories Bangalore team enough for making this birthday immensely memorable ✨💖

Thanks to Indigo, I got stuck in Patna for 36 hours!

Had gone to Patna for a friend’s wedding - that was the fun part of the trip. But after that the downfall of the entire trip started - after staggering the delays of my return flight, Indigo eventually cancelled my return flight back. No proper communication about the delays too - I just kept checking third-party sites to check the flight status and figured. Then they eventually sent the cancellation message - absolutely no transparency about what’s happening

Tried to find trains and flights out of Patna but everything was either insanely expensive or booked already. Local travel agents also gave up. I didn’t even have enough clothes for this indefinite delay because I’d packed for a wedding. So went ahead and did some last-minute shopping.

I thought of different permutation combinations. My mom back home booked a vande bharat to lucknow and another ticket from lucknow to delhi. But unfortunately even that couldn’t get confirmed on time.

Thankfully, my brother found a ticket available in a previously-sold out Air India Express flight via HDFC smart buy. I was mentally prepared that it would get cancelled but tried my luck (paid an inordinate sum too but no other option)

To kill time, I ended up exploring Patna with other folks who were stranded like me. We tried local street food like batata puri, til k*t. I particularly LOVED visiting Bihar museum - such a wonderful curation. Just tried to look at the glass half full in this entire chaotic experience

It worked out and I’m now in Bangalore but man I wish Indigo had communicated better so that I can plan my life out. V unexpected turn of events.

A massive thank you to everyone for the kind wishes! Getting featured in the news for this too is insane. In this Wow Rao Wow episode, I thought I’d give everyone a behind-the-scenes of all the action that went into putting up this AMAZE event.

It was truly an experience of a lifetime and I feel nothing but gratitude!

Tag someone who loves offbeat places!

While backpacking, I discovered a small town along the French Riviera called Menton. Here the town has been celebrating Fête du Citron (Lemon Festival) every February since 1934

The entire town is decorated with citrus fruits like lemons and oranges. Large parades and exhibits end up using some 140,000-150,000 kgs of fruit every year (it’s crazy). The festival celebrates good produce and prosperity - a bit like Pongal and Baisakhi back home 🍋

I went there and was blown away by how travelling can really be a learning experience and get you to appreciate cultures of all kinds. You really don’t know what you don’t know

Tag someone who loves artsy places!

As someone who LOVES Malayalam movies, Kochi has always been on my bucket list.

When fam finally moved there, I knew this was my chance to really explore it fully.

Walking through the streets of Fort Kochi, eating delish local food and watching Chinese fishing nets in full swing was just brilliant. Jew Town for me was a highlight! Every corner was FILLED with art and culture

Can’t wait to be back and explore the rest of the city and more parts of Kerala!

Send this to a book lover!

Two teachers Ritu and Aditi decided to open a bookstore Ink & Oak in HSR Bengaluru, shaking hands with Paper and Pie. It’s a beautiful space with well-curated books, incredible coffee and tons of greenery + natural light

So when they approached me to help with their launch event I jumped at the opportunity. It even gave me a chance to interview top entrepreneurs like Infosys Co-founder Mr Nandan Nilekani.

I’m so glad a space like this exists in Bengaluru where one can find peace & a chance to bump into fellow book lovers. If you’re in the neighborhood, do check it out!

PS - my peak Bengaluru moment was browsing through the Founder’s Corner where book recommendations of top startup founders are showcased

Tag someone who would love visiting here!
