कोलकाता की एक अदालत ने वजाहत खान की जमानत याचिका ख़ारिज कर 16 जून तक के लिए पुलिस रिमांड पर भेज दिया है।
- वजाहत खान को 9 जून को गिरफ्तार किया गया था। वह वही व्यक्ति हैं जिन्होंने सोशल मीडिया इन्फ्लुएंसर शर्मिष्ठा पनोली के ख़िलाफ़ शिकायत दर्ज कराई थी।
- वजाहत खान पर हिंदू देवी-देवताओं और परंपराओं को लेकर अपमानजनक और भड़काऊ भाषा का इस्तेमाल करने का आरोप है।
