At the Changchun Air Show 2025, China unveiled next-generation stealth UAVs, showcasing its unmanned combat prowess.
Highlights included the Chinese Academy of Sciences’ twin-jet flying-wing UCAV with serpentine intakes for radar evasion, and the Type-B, a fighter-sized drone with supersonic speed and AI-driven swarm capabilities.
Type-A lambda-wing drones and FH-97A loyal wingmen emphasized networked operations with J-20 fighters. A retrofitted J-6W drone also debuted, blending legacy systems with modern tactics.
These platforms, combining stealth, autonomy, and scalability, signal China’s lead in unmanned warfare, potentially reshaping air combat dynamics in future conflicts like a Taiwan scenario.
