Did you know that in 1946, the world's first electric computer was created? John Mauchly and J. Presper Eckert created this revolutionary device, known as the ENIAC, which signalled the start of a new era in the history of computing. It was enormous, occupying an entire room, and it used vacuum tubes rather than transistors, but it paved the way for what we now know as modern computing.
