Our report highlighted the public grievance in Hutmurah Anantnag where locals expressed serious concern over the presence of a wild bear roaming in the area. They said that although the Wildlife Department visited officials did not come equipped with proper tools to capture the wild bear. Residents added that they have been unable to sleep for the past several days due to fear.
One resident said he has suffered losses worth several lakhs over the past month due to wild bear aπacks on domestic animals.
Following the report Honble MLA Adv. Reyaz Ahmad Khan visited the area and interacted with residents and assured them that their concerns would be addressed.
