These past few months have been some of the most challenging of my life. So much has surfaced, demanding that I look at it, heal from it, accept it, elevate, transmute, and ascend in every single moment. It often felt like there was no chance to pause, no space to simply be. Yet, through it all, I've gained profound insight into my own inner landscape.
I've been deeply exploring my nervous system, understanding its responses, and identifying where I need to expand more as a mature man. I've recognized the areas where I need to improve my capacity to open my heart, to receive, and to give. I also confronted the parts of me that were hurting, the deep sadness beneath the layers, which I could no longer ignore, it was right in my face.
After such an intense period, it feels good to finally land in a space of deep inner peace. I know this space isn't necessarily permanent, and I'm always open to looking at myself in deeper ways. My energy and nervous system are sensitive to everything around me, so sometimes things may resurface.
I have experienced many spirals, breakdowns, and breakthroughs in my life, however none felt so immersive and deep like this one. Before, I had the opportunity to rely on everyone else within those spirals, but this time I had to do it on my own. Not because I didn't have anyone around me, but because of the deep inner guidance to get to the core of it all. Within this process Iโve learned to go back to the basics: just allow myself to feel it all, instead of running away from it. Sometimes that looks like just sitting with it, feeling it deeply, coming at peace with it, and transcending it, one step at a time, one day at a time, rewiring my entire nervous system into: "I am safe within it all, and that everything is temporary." Although "everything is temporary" didn't feel like an option as the process lasted for months. I had a few moments of a mini break where I felt like, "Wow, I am back," however the thought that I hadnโt fully accepted all spectrums of feelings was creeping on me again and again, until I said, "Enough is enough." Because ultimately, my deepest desire was to be happy and feel at peace within. The war in consciousness was so real. Shishhh.
In the end, this is the story of just a nervous system that wasn't yet ready to sit with itself for years in order to recognize the potential it already held.
Grateful to be here with you on this journey.
Much love,
Ravi.
