Congratulations Nagseni Kishtwar! Brand New Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV Nagseni) Approved!

Big news and a huge milestone for the people of Kishtwar! The Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) has officially approved the operation of Kendriya Vidyalaya Nagseni, District Kishtwar, starting from the new academic session 2026-27.
The school will temporarily function from Bhagna village, Post Office Palmar (Nagseni), initially hosting classes from Balvatika I to III and Classes 1st to 5th. This is a fantastic step forward for local education and a massive gift to the children and parents of the region.

Inaugurated the 140-foot Triple-Double Reinforced Bailey Bridge at Chishoti today, restoring the crucial Gulabgarh–Machail road link in Kishtwar. Built in record time by BRO, the new bridge replaces the earlier structure that was washed away in the devastating cloudburst of August 14, 2025, which had cut off the entire Machail region.
