Team Srishti Times recently visited the Fore School of Management (FSM) and interacted with a few faculty members to gain insight into the current developments at the institute and how they are adapting to the AI boom. Also got insights into other specialisations.
FORE (under the aegis of the foundation of Organisational Research and Education) School of Management (FSM) was established in 1992, and excels in academic and innovative research, aiming to lead in management education and entrepreneurship. It fosters socially responsible managers through holistic, multidisciplinary education, advances sustainable practices via impactful research and consulting, and promotes globally competitive entrepreneurship with local sensitivities. FSM offers specialisation in General Management, Strategic Management, Human Resources Management, Finance, Operations, Marketing, IT, Economics, and International Business.
We talked with Prof. Vandana Gupta & Prof. Amarnath Mitra, and got insights into the course curriculum. Prof. Vandana Gupta briefed us about how the courses are designed currently and also about the future courses that the institute is in process of designing.
It was a great telephonic conversation with Prof. Amarnath Mitra on Big data analysis and the various aspects of adapting to the emerging technologies, Digital Entrepreneurship and AI-driven business models.
During our visit, we got to visit the state-of-the-art AI Lab at FORE School that enables the students with hands-on experience in emerging technologies, supporting innovation, research, and entrepreneurial ventures powered by AI-driven business models.

Garba-e-Saanjh'25

It's Navratri time, and everyone is soaked in the festive flavours of Navratri. Navratri, celebrated to honour Goddess Durga, symbolises the triumph of good over evil. The festival commemorates the nine nights during which Goddess Durga defeated the powerful demon Mahishasura, an event that ultimately put an end to his reign of terror. Devotees worship the nine forms of the goddess, engage in fasting and prayers, and celebrate the divine feminine energy and spiritual strength.
Garba, a form of Circle social dance originating in Gujarat, is traditionally danced as part of the annual Hindu festival of Navratri (or "Nine Nights"), held in celebration of Amba Mata, or the primordial mother. People perform in a circular formation around a central lamp or statue of the goddess, symbolising the cycle of life and worshipping the divine feminine energy. The dance serves as a devotional expression, a social equaliser, and a way to celebrate the country’s rich culture.
To celebrate Navratri, the art of dance and the spirit of togetherness, the Cultural Division of FORE School of Management recently organised Garba-e-Saanjh'25 at their Gurugram campus.
FSM’s annual Dandiya Night was an evening dedicated to cultural harmony and festive celebration. It was an opportunity to immerse ourselves in the timeless elegance of our folk traditions for the students and faculty of the institute.
Team The Srishti Times also participated and enjoyed dancing to the rhythmic beats along with the vibrant crowd full of energetic students.
