Out of every national park in the US, Zion is hands down my absolute favorite—especially if you love trails that leave you speechless. 🥾🏜️✨
From trekking inside riverbeds flanked by 1,000-foot sheer cliffs to relaxing under red rock canyons, save this field guide for your trip: 📌
Getting In & Around 🚌
Shuttle Access: Take the free town shuttle from Springdale or walk 15 minutes straight to the park gate.
The 9 Stops: Hop on the main canyon shuttle inside the park. There are 9 distinct stops, each connecting to legendary hikes with colossal canyon views along the ride.
My Favorite Hike: The Narrows 🌊
Unlike any traditional hike, you trek for kilometers directly inside the Virgin River!
The deeper you go, the narrower and more dramatic the towering canyon walls become.
Pro Tip: Keep going past the 2 km mark. The crowds filter out almost completely, leaving you with pure, serene wilderness.
Where to Stay: Flanigan’s Resort & Spa 🏨
Set right between the red cliffs in Springdale.
Super peaceful rooms (I even had deer grazing right outside my door!).
Features separate hot and cold pools to soak and recover your legs after miles of hiking.
Don’t miss dining at their in-house spot, The Spotted Dog Cafe, for delicious, fresh comfort food.
Springdale Evenings 🌄
Wrap up your day with a sunset walk through Springdale town—charming local shops, relaxed cafes, and giant canyon walls towering in every direction.
