Delhi is taking a massive step towards a sustainable future♻️👕⁠

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) and the Delhi Government have launched the Arpan Vastra project to help reduce clothing waste across the city. Passengers can now drop off old garments directly at designated station kiosks.⁠

👕 Drop off old clothes at an Arpan Kendra kiosk, scan the QR code, and receive a digital certificate⁠
💡 Donated items go for recycling to women self-help groups⁠
📍 The kiosks are to be available at 10 metro stations⁠

DMRC is introducing 15 new interchange stations along with several new corridors to streamline connectivity across the capital. ⁠

🚇 11 new interchange stations, including Delhi Gate, Chirag Delhi, RK Ashram Marg, and Tughlakabad⁠
🔄 5 stations, including New Delhi, Lajpat Nagar, and Central Secretariat, are set to become triple-line interchange stations⁠
📍 New corridors are being added across the Magenta, Golden, and Red Line extensions⁠
