Indians Alerted Against Fake Claims on UAE Golden Visa Scheme!

Indian citizens have been cautioned against falling prey to a misleading claim about a new route to obtain the UAE Golden Visa. The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs & Port Security has confirmed that a viral press release making such claims is entirely false and deceptive.

This press release, issued by a consultancy named Rayad Group, alleged that Indians could now acquire a “nomination-based” Golden Visa without investing large sums in property or business. According to the false claim, individuals could gain permanent residency and even citizenship by paying AED 100,000 (approximately ₹23.3 lakh).

The release also falsely mentioned VFS Global as a processing partner and stated that India and Bangladesh were part of a pilot rollout, with China and other CEPA nations to be included later.

Former UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak is rejoining Goldman Sachs in an advisory role, the investment bank announced on Tuesday. The move follows the Conservative Party’s major electoral loss a year ago.

Goldman Sachs CEO David Solomon welcomed Sunak’s return, highlighting that he will work with senior leaders to advise global clients, drawing on his deep understanding of macroeconomic and geopolitical matters.

Sunak, who began his career at Goldman before venturing into politics, will not be allowed to lobby the UK government on the bank’s behalf for a year. Notably, he has pledged to donate his earnings from this role to the Richmond Project, a charity he founded to promote numeracy skills.
