Kindly don’t miss this episode as this is the most important one in the Covid vs Humans series.

Dear all,

A few days ago, I started a campaign with an initial investment of 1000 USD. With the generous help of some dear friends and the money raised over GoFundMe page, we have been able to provide food to over 2400 people who have lost their livelihoods due to the lockdown and are stuck with little or no help from the government or NGOs, as they are located in remote areas.

All my efforts are supported by super humans like you who have been generously donating towards the cause. Your help from donations, or simply spreading the word about this initiative, can help me support hundreds of more people.

Thank you so much for already helping me save thousands of lives in these difficult times.

With all the help received, I have still invested close to $5000 USD (3,80,000 INR) out of my pocket, which is 5 times of what I had expected. Unfortunately, it’s the maximum I can afford and I have exhausted all my savings that were kept for rainy days.

So the “Ration Wale Bhaiya” (that’s me, fondly being referred as “The Brother of food supplies”) will have to slow down. My phone number has spread across the city like wildfire and I will continue to help those people who will reach out to me and are in desperate need.

From 100 people to over 2,400 people, this has been the most wonderful thing I have ever been a part of. Sadly, with my current bank balance as low as $200 USD (15,200 INR) I won’t be able to make any further runs and can only help people with the existing stocks. I really hope that this is not my last Ground Report and somehow I can keep on going.

No matter what, for the rest of my life I can proudly tell the story of how all of us humans came together to spread love in the “time of Corona.”

Lots of love and hugs ❤️
Ravi.

Please watch this entire episode to get a quick glimpse into how my operations take place every day.

As I said at the end of the video: None of this would have been possible without all your kind love and generous contribution. So once again thank you very much.

Many thanks to my brother for putting this piece together.

Also I would like to use this opportunity to thank my darling little brother - Deepak and my Wonder Woman - Bittu for documenting almost every little detail so thoroughly.

More updates to follow.

Lots of love and hugs ❤️
Ravi

Many thanks to my most wonderful and dearest sister Anika Aren who is also my all time favourite Journalist/Presenter for making this special report even more special by adding such fine details and charisma as the wonderful team of Swaraj Express did a reportage to highlight our efforts to help the daily wage labourers stuck all across the country during these difficult times.

Thank you to my dear brother Gurmeet Sapal for always encouraging me to do the right thing.

Sharing this space with my dear friend Mustafa Qureshi who has inspired me everyday for the last three months.
And to be the first people to reach out to me.

Also a very special thank you to Piyush Jaiswal and team for putting together such an amazing episode.

None of this would have been possible without the help of my brother who has been working tirelessly day and night (literally working till 2-3 AM almost everyday) to keep this campaign going and making sure that I have everything I need to keep on going.

Lots of love and hugs. Please do watch the entire episode and support our campaign ❤️
