Rishikesh se lagbhag 27 KM upar, Himalayas ke beech sthit hai Neelkanth Mahadev Mandir — woh pavitra dham jahan maanyata hai ki Samudra Manthan se nikla Halahal Vish Mahadev ne apne kanth mein dharan kiya tha.

Jab Dev aur Asur Amrit ke liye sangharsh kar rahe the, tab Mahadev ne Vish ko apnaaya — aur isi se unka naam pada Neelkanth. 🔱

Aaj bhi Sawan, Mahashivratri aur Kanwar Yatra ke dauran hazaaron Shiv bhakt yahan darshan aur jalabhishek ke liye pahunchte hain.

This is not just a temple.
It is a story of devotion and Mahadev.

Nestled around 35 km from Almora, amidst the serene deodar forests of Uttarakhand, Jageshwar Dham is home to around 125 ancient Shiva temples. It is one of the oldest and most spiritually significant temple complexes dedicated to Lord Shiva.

They say you don’t have to ask Mahadev for anything here… reaching Jageshwar itself is His blessing.

Through Dharohar, my attempt is to bring you closer to Bharat’s timeless heritage, history, spirituality, and sacred places—one story at a time.

When Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj left this world, Swarajya was not surrounded by comfort — it was surrounded by enemies.
The Mughal Empire under Aurangzeb wanted to crush Hindavi Swarajya.
The Portuguese, Siddis, internal betrayals, political conspiracies — danger stood on every side.

And in the middle of that storm stood a young king…
Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj.

He did not get the luxury of ruling in peace.
He stepped directly into battle.
For 9 years, he fought relentlessly against one of the largest empires in the world and never surrendered his Dharma, his Swarajya, or his self-respect.

History often remembers crowns.
But real kings are forged in war, sacrifice, pain, and responsibility.
