The toughest day of our ride to Kailash Mansarovar – welcome to Nyalu La Pass at an altitude of 5,000 meters (16,400 ft).
This was our second attempt to cross this high mountain pass on this journey. For such extreme adventures, preparation is everything and nothing is more important than the right riding gear.

Tough terrain, high altitude, extreme weather and still, no complaints. 💪🏻
Kailash Mansarovar ride tested every limit, but Charlie kept going strong with Castrol POWER1 ULTIMATE.

On my recent ride to Kailash Mansarovar, I used Castrol POWER1 ULTIMATE 10W50 and the results truly impressed me.
Even after clocking over 1.15 lakh km, my motorcycle Charlie performed like a beast, thanks to the engine oil that didn’t give up, even in the most demanding off-road and high-altitude conditions.

Devine darshan of Kailash Parvat 🙏🏻

Recently, I had the blessing of riding my motorcycle to the Kailash Mansarovar viewpoint (via Limi- Lapcha, Nepal). Though Kailash Mansarovar is in Tibet, I rode through Nepal and from there, had the divine darshan of Kailash Parvat. This was truly one of the most emotional and unforgettable day of my life.

I still remember locals told us that it wasn’t a good day to see Kailash Parvat because the sky was full of clouds. But Mahadev blessed us with a clear view. It felt like a personal blessing, like He was waiting for us.

Reaching that point on a motorcycle wasn’t easy at all. The roads were in terrible condition, we had to cross a high mountain pass, and the weather was freezing. But I was mentally prepared. Somehow, I just believed that Baba would show me the way and He did.

The locals also said that darshan usually happens only before 12 noon, but even when we left at 2 pm, Mahadev was still there, in full glory, blessing us with His presence.

That moment… I’ll carry it with me for the rest of my life.

And this ride wouldn’t have been possible without my friends. Their support made all the difference. Together, we lived a moment that felt nothing less than a miracle.

The most heartbreaking sight for any biker.

For us, a motorcycle is not just a machine, it’s an emotion, a trusted friend, and a constant companion. Seeing it in this condition truly breaks our hearts.

We were stranded here for 3 days with no cash, no fuel, no electricity, no internet, no phone signal, and only this one place to stay, as seen in the picture.
