China, as a nation, has historically demonstrated a deep-seated respect for power, whether military or economic. This inherent respect shapes much of its diplomatic and strategic engagements. In recent times, India's growing military strength and economic influence have prompted China to reassess its position along the Line of Actual Control (LAC). Today, as a result, China has chosen to disengage from four critical military locations along the LAC.

This move is not merely a gesture of goodwill but a calculated response to India's assertive defence posture and its broader geopolitical influence. India’s increasing military capability, including modernised infrastructure, advanced weaponry, and strategic alliances, coupled with its rising economic prowess, has sent a clear message to Beijing: India is no longer a passive player in regional security matters.

By disengaging from these key locations, China acknowledges that any aggressive posturing may come at a significant cost. The interplay of military deterrence and economic leverage serves as a balancing force in the Sino-Indian relationship, where mutual respect for each other's power is paramount. Consequently, this disengagement marks a subtle but significant shift in the power dynamics between the two nations, reaffirming that China respects and responds to nations capable of asserting their strength.

Dear Members
The Joint Parliamentary Committee,

I am writing to express my deep concerns regarding the Waqf Board and its operations under the Waqf Act, 1995. The Waqf Board, as currently structured, appears to possess extraordinary powers that have led to significant controversies and social discord, as evidenced by various reports and public sentiments expressed across platforms.

Concerns with the Waqf Board:

1)Discriminatory Practices: The Waqf Act allows for the management of properties by a board where membership is predominantly or exclusively Muslim, which inherently discriminates against other religious communities. This exclusivity contradicts the principle of secularism enshrined in our Constitution.

2)Land Acquisition and Management: There have been numerous instances where the Waqf Board has claimed ownership over properties without sufficient legal scrutiny, leading to disputes and allegations of land grabbing. This practice not only affects individual property rights but also communal harmony.

3)Lack of Transparency and Accountability: The operations of the Waqf Board, including the acquisition and management of properties, often lack transparency. This opacity fosters mistrust and allegations of misuse of power.

4)Social Harmony: The continuation of such a system in its current form could potentially lead to increased communal tensions, as it is perceived by many as an instrument of land jihad, undermining the social fabric of our nation.

Recommendations:

1) Abolition of the Waqf Board: Given the discriminatory nature of the Act and the Board's operations, I urge your government to consider the complete abolition of the Waqf Board. This would align with the principle of 'One Nation, One Law', ensuring equality and justice for all citizens.

2) Reform in Property Management: If abolition is not immediately feasible, then a comprehensive reform is necessary. This should include:

A) Neutral Oversight: Establish a neutral body or integrate Waqf properties under a secular, government-controlled trust that ensures fair representation and management.

B) Transparency: Mandate regular audits and public disclosure of all Waqf properties and financial dealings.

C) Legal Reforms: Amend the Waqf Act to ensure that any property disputes are resolved through regular judicial processes, not through a tribunal that might be biased due to its composition.

D) Promote Social Harmony: Encourage policies that promote unity rather than division. The existence of such boards for one community while not for others inherently promotes division.

The sentiment across various platforms, reflects a growing public demand for reform or abolition of the Waqf Board, citing its role in social discord and legal disputes.

This letter echoes those sentiments, advocating for a legal and administrative framework that treats all citizens equally.

I trust that the empowered Joint Committee, will consider these points seriously for the betterment of our nation's unity and integrity.

Thank you for considering this urgent matter.

Yours sincerely,

Sanjay Kumar Mishra ,
(A concerned citizen of Bharat)

Bharat.

Why Democracy?

When a hardworking and visionary leader dedicates himself to the nation's progress, his contributions are monumental. He toils day and night to lift Bharat from the depths of poverty, creating a robust and secure foundation for the future. Through tireless effort, he strengthens the country's internal security, ensuring its citizens are safe from threats both within and beyond the borders. He builds a solid foreign policy, fostering relations that position Bharat as a respected and influential player on the global stage. Under his leadership, the economy flourishes—industries thrive, job opportunities expand, and the GDP soars, signalling a new era of prosperity. Foreign reserves swell, providing a buffer against economic instability, and the nation stands tall on its feet.

However, democracy, as powerful as it is, holds a double-edged sword. The very voters who once benefitted from these advancements became complacent. Instead of fulfilling their civic duty, they chose to stay home, viewing the election day as a holiday, rather than a responsibility. This apathy created a void, allowing a weak and unqualified leader—merely a puppet with no real vision—to rise to power.

Once in control, this new leader squandered the nation’s hard-earned progress. The foreign reserves, painstakingly accumulated, were looted, and the once-flourishing economy began to crumble. The internal security, once a pillar of strength, became vulnerable, exposing the nation to threats. In a few short years, the prosperity and progress that had been carefully built vanished, and Bharat found itself plunged back into the cycle of poverty and insecurity.

This, indeed, is the power of democracy. It can elevate a nation to great heights, but if neglected, it can just as swiftly undo years of progress, leaving behind a legacy of lost potential and shattered hopes.

*The Destructive Nature of Anger and How to Harness Its Power for Constructive Purposes*

Anger is a natural human emotion that arises from feelings of frustration, injustice, or perceived threat. When left unchecked, it can be a highly destructive force, harming not only the individual but also the relationships around them. The danger of anger lies not only in its intensity but also in its ability to cloud judgment, fuel impulsive actions, and damage emotional well-being. Moreover, persistent anger—especially when it manifests as nagging—can erode trust, strain bonds, and even cause irreversible harm to relationships. However, anger, when managed properly, can be redirected into a constructive force. It is a powerful emotion that, when harnessed positively, can inspire personal growth, drive change, and strengthen resolve.

*The Destructive Effects of Anger*

Anger, in its uncontrolled form, is detrimental to both the self and others. Physically, unchecked anger can lead to increased stress, hypertension, and even heart problems. Emotionally, it fosters feelings of guilt, shame, and regret after outbursts, creating a vicious cycle of negativity.

In relationships, anger can be lethal. Frequent outbursts create an atmosphere of hostility and distrust. Those who experience anger regularly often resort to nagging—repeated, negative expressions of frustration aimed at another person. Nagging not only causes emotional wounds but also diminishes the self-esteem of the person on the receiving end. Over time, it can poison even the closest of bonds, leading to alienation, resentment, and sometimes the complete breakdown of relationships.

When anger is habitual, it becomes a tool for control, manipulation, or punishment, driving wedges between people who once shared mutual respect and affection. Relationships deteriorate when love is replaced by fear, and patience is replaced by irritation.

*The Constructive Power of Anger*

While anger can destroy, it also holds the potential to build. When redirected towards constructive purposes, it can become a catalyst for positive change. The energy behind anger can be channeled into problem-solving, advocating for justice, or asserting personal boundaries. History is filled with examples of individuals who harnessed their anger towards social injustices to fuel movements that changed the world—Mahatma Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr., and Nelson Mandela, to name a few.

The key to using anger constructively lies in understanding and managing it. Instead of reacting impulsively, individuals can use the power of anger to address the root causes of their frustration. By transforming anger into action, people can become more assertive, address personal grievances, and work towards resolution rather than escalation.

*Strategies for Overcoming Anger*

1. *Self-awareness*: The first step to overcoming anger is recognizing its onset. Developing emotional intelligence allows individuals to pause, reflect, and assess the root of their anger before reacting. By practicing mindfulness, individuals can identify triggers and manage their emotions more effectively.

2. *Breathing and Relaxation Techniques*: Controlled breathing and relaxation techniques, such as deep breathing exercises, meditation, or yoga, can help calm the mind and body. These techniques create a gap between the trigger and the reaction, allowing individuals to think more clearly and rationally.

3. *Empathy and Perspective*: Often, anger stems from a lack of understanding. Practicing empathy—putting oneself in another’s shoes—can help diffuse anger. By considering the other person’s perspective, individuals can soften their reactions and communicate more calmly.

4. *Healthy Expression*: Instead of suppressing anger or letting it explode, find a healthy outlet. Physical activities like exercise, writing, or even creative pursuits like painting can provide a means to release built-up emotions. Engaging in constructive dialogues, where anger is expressed in a non-hurtful manner, can help solve problems rather than creating new ones.

5. *Problem-Solving*: Anger is often a signal that something is wrong or needs to be changed. By approaching the issue with a solution-oriented mindset, individuals can transform their frustration into motivation to solve the underlying problem.

6. *Seeking Help*: For those who struggle with chronic anger, seeking therapy or counseling can provide long-term strategies for emotional management. Cognitive-behavioral therapy, for instance, can help individuals reframe their thinking and respond differently to anger-inducing situations.

*Redirecting Anger for Positive Change*

Rather than viewing anger as purely destructive, it can be used as a tool for personal and social improvement. For example, someone angry about injustice in society can channel that anger into activism, advocacy, or volunteering. On a personal level, anger can be used to assert healthy boundaries in relationships, ensuring that one's needs are communicated and respected without resorting to destructive behavior.

When anger is used constructively, it becomes a source of strength, driving individuals to take action, create solutions, and contribute positively to their surroundings. Rather than allowing anger to fester, transforming it into a force for good can lead to personal empowerment, stronger relationships, and a more just world.

*Conclusion*

Anger, while often viewed as a destructive emotion, holds immense potential for personal and social transformation when harnessed correctly. It is vital to recognize the danger of unchecked anger and the damage it can cause to oneself and relationships. However, through self-awareness, healthy expression, and the pursuit of constructive outlets, anger can be transformed into a powerful force for positive change. Learning to overcome and channel anger constructively not only strengthens emotional well-being but also helps in building healthier, more fulfilling relationships.

Over the last 15 months, 1,182 farmers in Karnataka died by su***de, according to the state's revenue department. The main causes were severe drought, crop loss, and overwhelming debt.

is not doing prime time.

is not making cartoons.

is not protesting for those farmers.

is not asking people to come on street for protest

are not visiting those farmers and making video

And you can't expect any tweet from

And how can Rahul & Priyanka Gandhi visit those farmers who are dying due to debt even after election promise by Congress.

The alarming issue of thousands of farmers committing su***de in Kerala is a matter of grave concern that cannot be ignored. It is disheartening to witness the lack of coverage and conversation on this critical issue from both the media and the general public. The silence surrounding this tragedy is deafening, and it calls for immediate action and attention.

The farmers of concerns must take a stand and bring this issue to the forefront by organizing protests and demonstrations in Kerala. These actions should be powerful and impactful, ensuring that the plight of our farmers is heard in every household across Kerala and beyond.

Our protests must resonate with such intensity that it compels everyone to acknowledge the severity of the situation and demand action.

By raising our voices and demonstrating our solidarity with the farmers, we can create a ripple effect that will lead to increased awareness, media attention, and ultimately, meaningful change.

Our objective is to ensure that the concerns of our farmers are not just heard but acted upon. It is our responsibility to stand up for those who feed our nation and to fight for their right to a life of dignity and security.

Observing a child with a mental disorder, whether it is a developmental disability or a psychiatric condition, can be profoundly challenging. One prominent characteristic often noticed is their obstinacy. Once they set their mind on something, they exhibit an unwavering determination to achieve their desire, regardless of the consequences. This resolute focus can sometimes lead them to extreme behaviors, as their ability to comprehend and weigh the outcomes of their actions is often compromised. Their single-minded pursuit of a goal reflects a deep-seated need for consistency and control in a world that may feel unpredictable and overwhelming to them...
And this is the biggest strength of Rahul Gandhi.
If he fails, he is a Pappu and if he succeeds by fluke then he is a leader.

Rahul Gandhi has no credibility, so he has nothing to lose.

The destruction of Gaza is a tragic consequence of the ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas, which has claimed thousands of lives and displaced hundreds of thousands of people. The aerial bombardment by Israel has left many parts of Gaza in ruins, as shown by satellite images and aerial videos. The humanitarian situation in Gaza is dire, as many health facilities, schools, and mosques have been damaged or destroyed. The people of Gaza are suffering from lack of water, electricity, food, and medical supplies.

Do they really deserve this loss? On the other hand what instigated Hamas to make a brutal attack on Isreal?

War is a terrible thing that causes immense suffering and loss for all sides involved. It is important to learn from the history of warfare and avoid repeating the mistakes of the past.

Some of the lessons that we can learn from the world wars are:

▪︎Peace is fragile and should not be taken for granted. A small incident can trigger a chain of events that leads to a global conflict.

▪︎War is lengthy and unpredictable. It often lasts longer than expected and has unforeseen consequences5.
War is not only fought on the battlefield, but also in the minds of the people. Propaganda, misinformation, and psychological warfare can influence the public opinion and morale.

▪︎War is not a zero-sum game, where one side wins and the other loses. War often results in mutual destruction, devastation, and trauma for both sides.

▪︎War is not inevitable, but can be prevented or resolved by diplomacy, negotiation, and cooperation. Nonviolent approaches can be more effective and less costly than violent ones.

These are some of the lessons that we can learn from the destruction of Gaza and other wars in history. We should strive to promote peace, justice, and human rights for all people, and avoid resorting to violence as a means of solving conflicts. War is not the answer, but the problem.
