Warm greetings.
This is just to remind you that the Indian Women’s Press Corps is commemorating its 24th anniversary on Sunday, November 11, in “Bhim Hall” at the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar International Centre, Janpath.
Our annual event is, as usual, in association with the Indian Council for Cultural Relations. This year, a concert by the award winning Brass Band "New Life Brass Ensemble", from Russia would be the highlight of our anniversary. The New Life Brass Ensemble was set up in 2009 and named after a trumpeter Timofey Doksh*tzer. The band's repertoire includes popular jazz, classical music and pop compositions. The quintet will perform compositions from Bach and Tchaikovsky among others.
The concert will be preceded by the release of our Annual Souvenir by the chief guest, Mr Hardeep S. Puri, Minister of State (Independent Charge), Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs.
