Nalanda University Sets a New Benchmark in Sustainability and Scholarship
Nalanda University is making global headlines with its stunning new net-zero, fully solar-powered campus. Spread over 100 acres, the campus blends modern eco-design with the architectural soul of ancient Nalanda, featuring expansive solar farms, serene water bodies, and nature-aligned pathways.
Yesterday, the university added another milestone. The School of Buddhist Studies, Philosophy and Comparative Religion organised an academic field visit to the Ancient Nalanda site for a special lecture by Ven. Geshe Dorji Damdul on “Ārya Nāgārjuna’s Catuṣkoṭi and Āryasatyaparīkṣā.”
Students also engaged with international scholars and practitioners, creating a rich exchange of ideas on Buddhist logic and philosophical traditions.
